The different rooms I'm guessing were unnerving? Since it seems the weirdness was building up to the piano incident. Maybe it's related to inferior Ne, a fear of the unknown? The sea is similar, something that looks placid on the surface but might contain dangers beneath.
It sounds like you were trapped, and isolated (initially only had the composer, and then couldn't find her). Does/did that reflect how you were feeling about your IRL situation?
