Dude, I'm trying to give SLIs credit by saying they aren't all like DeAnte.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

mmm now we just need a big glass of milk.

I'm not so sure about SLIs and desert islands though...they might just make a hammock, take a nap and wait to be rescued.

I am a good person, Gilly.

EDIT: That Urkel reference would work better if I actually wore glasses or something.

(Although Cyclops, I am curious as to how you connected the two aliases - not that I care about the two aliases at all, it just seems like it would be an interesting story.)

    Seconded.

There doesn't seem much practical purpose having a Delta "leader", so I assume most of the talk about this is jest and fun and games, in which case that's fine with me. But on a deeper level I do feel a bit of revolution against the idea of someone "ruling" me or ordering me around. It just... doesn't sit well.

If the selection of nominees was based on the least amount of controversy about type I'd probably be one of the top ones. Very few people have questioned my typing and even those that have usually come back around to INFj at some point. That said, I wouldn't really want to be the "leader".
Oh, to find you in dreams - mixing prior, analog, and never-beens... facts slip and turn and change with little lucidity. except the strong, permeating reality of emotion.

My personal view of "leading" something like this is simply to let people be. I don't need the title of LEADER OF THE INFJS. That is not what I do and not what I'm about.

I'm honored that people have voted for me the way they have, but my style of leading is to assist when I'm needed, otherwise I let everything be what they are. The Delta organization of operations is more organic than hard-lined. Let it breathe.

I should also note that they way that I would "lead" is the same as how I administrate this forum. Basically, a hands-off approach unless things come up that require my attention and/or need my assistance.

I think it's nice to have a government in place just in case someone's feeling beurocratic. I also think it's nice to have the option of a rebellion.

Hey, I'm not included in the poll!!! :frown: j/k obviously it was made before I realized I was IEE. . .and that's ok because I'm not sure I want the pressure of being in the government.

Anyway, I think the choices are great and I totally agree with them!! The Deltas have spoken. And wisely.

@ resume padding. It IS a leadership role!!

I have been instructed to make the following post.

Whilst it has been and still remains our long term goal to allow self determination for the Delta people, we have regretably been forced to disolve the Delta political administration. Over the last few days and weeks we have monitered and intercepted multiple illegal payments from senior officials; have seen the judicial system destroyed by rampant nepotism and a clear disregard for the law and observed in horror as they changed the T.V. schedule unannounced. As our people starve, the governemt have eaten steak and chicken; as our people have slept on the streets, they have slept on really comfy beds in houses with double glazed windows and central heating; as our people have to get on the bus to go to work, they have been driving Saab 500's to their fancy tennis clubs. This had to stop, therefore until a new, fair and impartial election can be organised and the rotten elements of the civil service cleansed, we will be managing the ongoing and democratic development of the Delta's directly. Our first act of Government will be to ensure that Scrubs is returned to it's rightful 24 hour rotation. All Hail the 16 types, All hail Gilly.

LOL i suppose it's all a matter of perspective. What a bunch of dictators. The betas are just jealous because we are so peace-loving and cooperative. hey being mean and fighting each other never brought prosperity to anyone. The state of beta mayhem is only brought on by the betas themselves.

Whilst it has been and still remains our long term goal to allow self determination for the Delta people, we have regrettably been forced to dissolve the Delta political administration. Over the last few days and weeks we have monitored and intercepted multiple illegal payments from senior officials; we have seen the judicial system destroyed by rampant nepotism and a clear disregard for the law and observed in horror as they changed the T.V. schedule unannounced. As our people* starve, the government have eaten steak and chicken; as our people* have slept on the streets, they have slept on really comfy beds in houses with double glazed windows and central heating; as our people* have to get on the bus to go to work, they have been driving Saab 500's to their fancy tennis clubs. This had to stop; therefore until a new, fair and impartial election can be organized and the rotten elements of the civil service cleansed, we will be managing the ongoing and democratic development of the Delta's directly. Our first act of Government will be to ensure that Scrubs is returned to its rightful 24 hour rotation. All Hail the 16 types, all hail Gilly.

    THE BETAS
As official LSE representative for the Delta Government, I hereby correct your spelling and grammar. That was very unprofessional of you, Betas.

*We Deltas are not responsible for your people.

    By the way, what's a "Saab 500?"

I only got 1 vote... Abbey can we remove one of Ryu's and put it on my side? Thanks. I mean, Ryu the leader of Delta? At least I have a better chance at not making faux pas-s.
