I've been doing this since age 10, and was not aware of it's existence as an interest for others outside of use in terms of Dungeons & Dragons campaigns.
Also, my main interest at the moment outside of socionics is Dungeons & Dragons

Likewise, I started in Grade 7 or 8, before my family had the Internet and well before I'd ever heard of the term "worldbuilding". I didn't care much for the DnD system, though -- my friends and I tried a number of different ones, but mostly I created my own rules systems. Nowadays all my geek friends have moved away, so I don't get to actually play RPGs anymore, but I still love worldbuilding.
Quaero Veritas.
I've never played any tabletop DnD but I love the d20 system that has resulted in some really good PC games (Star Wars: KOTOR, Neverwinter Nights, etc.) Dnd always seemed like something I would like but I've never seen it played.
ILI (FINAL ANSWER)
My LII friend was very interested in baroque music and theology at some point. He also likes swimming occasionally. But now he's just busy with his career and has no time for hobbies.
Some of my areas of interest (besides socionics):
mathematics
economics
law
health--nutrition and exercise mostly
programming--took a beginner C++ class in college and didn't learn much. Now I usually program in PHP and JavaScript, but I recently purchased a book on Scala that I hope to read soon.
videogames (less and less though)
