I don't know since I've never been in this situation. Of course I'd want to be logical, but the heart's awfully stubborn. Depends on how similar they are. Is one a Christian and the other not? Logic. Do they both have the qualities I want? Heart.
that's good fortune, to have two duals from which to pick, but--I imagine--a difficult situation.
To choose:
* Try to evaluate which one loves (or likes, if that's the situation) me more.
* I'd probably try to envision which I could see a future with.
* Try to decide which I'm more attracted to.

Well us logical types have problems with the "who" part, that's where Socionics comes in. But once we're in the door, it's basically us just stale facing our relational problems where you ethicals face the hard emotions. Fair trade, I would think.

Pick the one who aligns with who you are as a person best, who you find most attractive, who you can work with better(the best LONG TERM pick), who shares your interests, who reciprocates, who stimulates you the most on a substantial level, the one who challenges you more, the one who you see as a stronger person, the one who can make you a stronger person by being with them, the one whose company you enjoy more, the one who if taken away you would regret most if they left, etc etc.

I say don't worry about it. Whatever happens happens and why does love lessen just cause it can't be physically manifested? Or just because a relationship can't work realistically? The love is still there, the pure love, and what about cherishing that in the own right. The thing with love is that everybody agrees that it's important, but nobody can agree what it is exactly.
Maybe 'Love' is accepting reality and what has been given to you and allowing people to love you for where you always are instead of where they want you to be or where you want to be. I don't think love can be conditional.

Not true. I love two people right now. And I read all those qualities and the other person fits exactly half of them and the other fits the other half and it comes out exactly even, I based it on my real life experiences.
So it might be 50.000000005% something, still not enough to really make that person 'automatically best' but I don't really gauge my human relationships by math either.
in that case, you should probably dump both of them.

haha a few years ago I'd agree with that in a heartbeat. especially when I was 18 and shit maaaaan the natural biological peak of male sexuality it comes and goes.

I'd probably go with my heart. I don't know, the pressure might get to me, and I could eventually try to rationalize everything. Sometimes its best to let things decide for themselves, if you know what I mean.

Don't know. I could see how there might be extenuating circumstances...
What if there was absolutely perfect chemistry between myself and the first, and he was caring, intelligent, and challenged me...but he lived in a place that I couldn't live - maybe it was too small, or too expensive... and I was worried about our future living in a place like that. And he was unlikely to move, because it suited him perfectly.
But what if the other one cared about me just as much, perhaps I even admired him more for certain things, and had a lifestyle I easily meshed with... but I wasn't 100% certain about his character. Not that he was a bad person per se, just that he was a little less caring than the first. Maybe he didn't feel quite as invested as the other one did.
I probably wouldn't go for the second... but I might not go for the first either.
But only because I think that "love" won't solve everything, and sometimes other circumstances can create enough pressure to damage what you originally had. And that I can't give up my own aspirations and dreams to make someone else happy if it won't make me happy as well.

Honestly, it would end up being what Director Abbie said; who do I share more religious beliefs (Christianity) with, and then after that maybe who do I share more life goals with... but then also "who am I in a relationship with" and "who do I see as having the best chance of me not only having a relationship right now with, but also having a marriage that will last how ever many decades."
But honestly, in the moment, I'd probably just pick whichever girl I liked better (read: had a bigger rack/better butt. kidding.) Honestly, I'm having a bigger problem figuring out why both of these SLE girls are so totally into me that they're going to let me "pick" between them. I'd spend more time trying to divine the source of my good fortune than picking.
