It's okay. I just don't know how to respond to you when you say stuff like you were saying because your world view is so sad and angry. Like you're standing in Willy Wonka's candy playland and all you can see is how dirty everyone's shoes are.

There are a lot of shitty things in life and a lot of good things. If you focus on the shitty things, that's what your experience will be. So why not look for some of the good around you?

(Yes, that probably sounds preachy. Because I'm more privileged than I realize? Whatever, there are people in every station in life that are happy and unhappy. If you focus on the infuriating and depressing stuff, of course you'll be one of the unhappy ones. Even if you're a multi-billionaire or a member of the monarchy. If you focus on the good and happy stuff, then your overall life experience is going to be one of joy, even if you're poor.)

Apparently IEIs like being controlled. They'll be in this mood where they get stubborn and resistant to even the most practical things, particularly with a significant other. It's a way they play with people: not serious, just in jest. The problem is that only SLE is not bothered by this. SLEs like it because it chimes with their own playful side, which tries to compell other people to "go along" with them.

Imagine an SLE and an IEI are in bed together, and the SLE wants to have sex. He tries to position the IEI, but she's resistant. He says, "Come here". She says, "No...", with a half-concealed smile.... He says, "I said, come here." She says, "Make me." He says, "DO as I say!", with a mock seriousness. The IEI puts a look on her face of mock consternation, and replies "YOU are going to get in trouble!" as she takes position over the SLE.
