There's been a song in my head since Sunday, but it's not on YouTube. I might make it be there, but not right now.

Oh, to find you in dreams - mixing prior, analog, and never-beens... facts slip and turn and change with little lucidity. except the strong, permeating reality of emotion.

The refrain kind of reminds me of this quote by Jim Elliot, "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose."
Anyway, this song was stuck in my head a couple of weeks ago and came back for a visit this evening.

Rescue - Beautiful
The one that was stuck in my head the first half of last week and wasn't on YouTube.

Brandon Heath - Listen Up
Paraphrasing something I heard somewhere, "God gave us two ears and one mouth; so we should listen twice as much as we talk." While I do appreciate people who know how to speak well and fill silences and keep conversation moving etc., there are times when I wish... well, that more listening would happen.

Any trance song brave enough to use an augmented 4th deserves some praise.

I think the lead singer of Blue October is a young EII (subtype Ne) passionate/ self-diving/ become-someone-else-in-Si-Fi-Ne juncture -- Anyway, I love this video (even though I realize it can be seen as conceptually naive with the obvious sexual metaphores of exploding rockets, etc, etc...)
However, an EII wouldn't necessarily pick up on that kind of stuff, though, when they are just enthralled & excited with the passion of expression of self---
(I also love "Into the Ocean" --- both these songs make me cry or want to...every damn time!)
and now...because I'm feeling masochistic... no really, these videos always fuck me up... emotionally...but I guess in a good way ---
(ignore the advertisement at the beginning of the video)
Damn! i love this song!!
(and video is beautiful, complex..maybe produced by SEI or IEI..w/ Ni influence)
Initially, I posted the song ...but ... i guess it was some wacked-out, piecemeal, anime concoction
anyway...edited.. hope i got the right video -- should feature a lovely intellectual/philosophical F-guy with eyeliner & poetic sole -- :-)
Very applicable song for me right now. Being in a city I love, on my own in college, starting my University experience. Beats enhance the song, imo.
Thank you heath lol
