I was thinking LSE might make a lot of sense for Hector.

These are good, although, as you yourself mentioned, LSE seems better for Hector.

Not sure that LSI fits Odysseus very well.

My take from what i remember (and of the book)

Odysseus not LSI, feels like ILI .... a bit of both but ultimately more brains than brawn
Paris strikes me as more IEI than EIE ... a dreamer ... avoids responsibility, needs protection

In the movie Brad Pitt (an intuitive) did well although i thought they really needed to cast Achilles with an Se dominant (eg Clooney) ... Pitts eyes never really laded on things in the way you'd expect from a strong sensory type.

    Default Troy (movie)

    Paris: SEI-Fe, 7w6 sx/sp (ESFP)
    Hector: ESI-Se, 6w7 sx/so (INFJ)
    Priam: EII-Fi, 1w2 so/sx (ISFJ)
    Briseis: IEE-Fi, 1w2 sx/so (ENFJ)
    Helen: SEI-Si, 9w8 sx/so (ISFP)
    Achilles: ESI-Se, 3w4 sp/sx (ISFP)
    Patroclus: SEE-Se, 3w2 so/sx (ESFP)
    Eudorus: SLI-Si, 6w7 sx/so (ISFJ)
    Odysseus: LIE-Ni, 3w2 sp/so (ENTP)
    Ajax: SLE-Se, 7w8 sx/sp (ESTP)
    Agamemnon: SLE-Ti, 8w9 sp/so (ENTJ)
    Menelaus: SLE-Se, 8w7 sx/sp (ESTJ)

I absolutely cannot fucking decide on Achilles, Patroclus and Odysseus. Either they're a Gamma triangle, or a Beta triangle. In either case, this movie (as well as the epic it was shittily adapted from) are Decisive as hell. Beta/Gamma clusterfuck with a couple of Deltas tossed in to keep the movie tame for the sheeple.

EDIT: Nah, they're Gammas. Briseis's supervision of Achilles is glaringly obvious.

What do these signs mean—, , etc.? Why cannot socionists use symbols Ne, Ni etc. as in MBTI? Just because they have somewhat different meaning. Socionics and MBTI, each in its own way, have slightly modified the original Jung's description of his 8 psychological types. For this reason, (Ne) is not exactly the same as Ne in MBTI.

Just one example: in MBTI, Se (extraverted sensing) is associated with life pleasures, excitement etc. By contrast, the socionic function (extraverted sensing) is first and foremost associated with control and expansion of personal space (which sometimes can manifest in excessive aagression, but often also manifests in a capability of managing lots of people and things).

For this reason, we consider comparison between MBTI types and socionic types by functions to be rather useless than useful.

    (The Movie)

Achilles: Not sure, any Se type, Beta > Gamma

Hector: ESI fit the stereotype so well, personal relationship strongly affect how he did things,

Paris: EIE pretty boy? or some other F type but not Gamma SF.

Agamemnon: SEE - D or SLE. I like this guy, he'so funny.

Odysseus: Gamma NT or LSI. He seem to be more Gamma NT style, just doing his job but wasn't really loyal to any Ti thing.

Helen: EIE?? (why many EIE are view as the most beautiful?)

    Ajax: SLE Barbarian style

    Briseis: IEI or ESI.

Patroclus: Another pretty EIE? IEI could also make sense, get killed when seeking Se…

    Priam: ESI

    Andromache: ESI
