There are things about her which remind me very much of my ENFj-Fe sister.
how many sisters and brothers do you have?

If you are making that comment because I decided to convert to Islam, you obviously know NOTHING about the actual religion.

30000 people in the United States convert to Islam every year, 2/3 of them being WOMEN. If Islam treats women so horribly...I don't think WOMEN would be converting to it.

People like you are so ignorant. A religion and the actions of it's followers are two completely different things.

They're just trying to get a rise out of you, and would probably say something no matter what religion you'd converted to. I've seen Christians get the same stuff. Anyway, you can alert on any post that seems offensive to you by hitting the little exclamation point icon in the lower left-hand corner of the aforementioned offensive post. Though I should warn that there are lots of offensive things on this forum. They are pretty offensive across the board - it's an equal opportunity offensiveness thing.

ENFj muslim girl: I do think you have suffered a deranged trauma of some kind. Not necessarily because of your religion in particular, but because you are very strange all around. But I am not interested in pursuing that further; only really inquired at all out of curiosity. Some people are comfortable discussing their deranged sides. Since I have received a warning on this topic I am officially sorry for making you feel threatened and activating your shields. Also, the ENFp above is a bureaucratic tool

Being called strange by crazedrat is a double negative, says the bureaucratic tool.

It seems like that you might have converted to islam, not because you truly embrace islam, but because of something else...

I saw your room in that thread, and it looks like the room of a young girl. How old are you?

(Btw, it's becoming pretty clear that you are a rational NF [not sure which one]. Whoever was suggesting gamma, needs to practice some more, or wasn't being objective for some reason. No offense.)

How can you make such an assumption? You don't even know me. I have always had a strong belief in God, but had problems with the religion I was raised in...which sooner or later led me to Islam. I am very devoted to practicing my religion correctly. How can you judge another beliefs? How do you know what is in my heart? You don't.

I am 16 years old...but like I have said many times before, I have immature tastes. I'm obsessed with all things bright and cheery.

I can't stand people who think it's okay to say something rude because they are on the internet.
I mean, what do you even get from saying something like that?

I can't speak for others, but I also find being rude unnecessarily very annoying. On the internet or IRL. Sorry if it came across that way.

Why do you think I converted to Islam?
I would like to know exactly what assumption you have.

I'm not assuming anything. Like you say, I don't know you.

I'm really not very knowledgeable of Islam or other religions, but from what I've read, the tenets of the religion are fine. I'm wondering if it's the case here that you agree and/or identify with the tenets of the religion very strongly, and that is why you choose to follow it, regardless of how some of its participants might 'misuse" its teachings.

Yes, I agree with the tenets of Islam. I love my religion more than you know. I love my religion religion so much that I defend it whenever it is insulted by other people...which is very often, I must say...but disapproval among many people is just a sad reality. If people really understood the message of Islam, I don't think they would be so against it. There are so many issues though...People take things out of context...Things get lost in translation...The Qur'an is not taken with Hadith, propaganda, etc...The biggest problem I think right now is misled Muslims. They make the whole religion look bad.

I fully agree with you that you have all the right in the world to defend what you believe in, but I also think people should be free to comment, and perhaps criticize anything they don't agree with, or do not understand. Always provided that they can keep things civil and the discussion productive, of course.

Yes, I do agree. You know, I've just become so defensive about it...

Nah.. it's understandable. When one is attacked, the primary, instinctive reaction is to defend oneself.

I was brought up as Christian myself... but one day I realized that it wasn't giving me all I needed. Sometimes I still visit a church, though, as I like the atmosphere therein.
