I was very talkative, carefree, and uninterested in psychology.

Now I am quiet, anxious, and interested in psychology.

As a kid I was very adventurous and just generally happier and more outgoing, over time my adventurous instinct became more mental than physical and I become more cynical and misanthropic. Physically I had blonde curly hair and blue eyes as a child, now my hair is brown and my eyes green -- true story, maybe I can get around to posting a picture of me as a kid. I was much more uh e8w7 ish as a kid, now I'm a lot more e5/4.

I was little. And played with toys a lot.

Now I'm big, and just play with myself.

When I was a toddler, I was playful and social. I was creative and climbed trees with my neighbor.
But..once I started gaining weight, I became much more introverted. :S
    I don't really know. Hah.
And I would hide my face in you and you would hide your face in me, and nobody would ever see us any more.

I've been told I was a very easy baby/toddler, woke up every morning on my own and started singing and if no one came to say hi to me I just went back to sleep. I remember being adventurous, creative and very social. I often made up new games and organized drama plays for other children, but was also very shy around new people and overly sensitive over the stupidest things. Like once when I was already stuffed with food, but still ate the surprise ice cream my dad had bought me because I felt touched and didn't want to hurt his ( or the ice creams ) feelings. Then I threw up.

What were you like as a kid?
    - A bit tomboy, i like to play with my cousins (boys) and I don't like dolls, wearing skirts/gown etc. I like fishing, climb trees and catch dragonfly, and I like reading books at my cousin's house. My mum describe me as rebellious, daring, stubborn and hard to handle. (during teenager)
    - At school and church, I'm pretty shy, quiet and awkward. (a good girl )

And how different are you now?
    - Quiet, shy, reserved. I learned to be more polite and refine but still awkward among strangers.

How would you describe the general temperament of this:

    -
    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

    LOL

I would describe a person who shrieks away from objects. Is sensitive. I didn't like being put down for photos like that when I had to face some stranger and watch my cousin step back; my dual cousin took me to that shoot and she said I was most comfortable when people I knew held me and shied away from strangers. I'm the same way now. Don't advance towards me too sharply or I might shriek away

    Very serious.

I was shy and brainy. I was really respectful of adults and authority but I also had this really independent streak. Like, if I play by your rules you can leave me alone lol. I liked to read and play pretend. I would get these random things in my head and stubbornly stick to them like when I was about eight I started getting up at about 5 in the morning to work out every day to this aerobics program on TV and I could hear my parents whispering their concern from the bedroom but I wasn't concerned with looking like a model or anything, I just enjoyed feeling like I was doing something good. I felt estranged from other kids until about high school, I felt more like an adult. I didn't always understand that I wasn't, like I would mix together foods in the kitchen and order stuff in the mail by myself and then be surprised when my parents werent on board. but I believed in magic and I would look for fairies in the flowers and suspect ghosts in the walls in full earnestness. My mom said I had an imaginary friend for awhile that I blamed stuff on. I liked to dig up worms and keep them as pets until my dad caught me kissing one and got grossed out and forbade it.

The most obvious way I differ from my childhood self is I'm less confident and less hooked up to creativity. but I'm also braver in certain ways, maybe that you can only get from experience.

I was very polite, a self-taught gentleman at age 5 and up. When me and my parents went to the store, I usually ran to the cashiers to help other customers in packing. Few years later I went to the outdoor florist's complex to help the staff with small things and then they gave me a free choice gift and I gave it to my mama. I also used to open a lot of doors and I have sometimes even stood in front of high traffic doors just to open them.

I was also very science savvy all the from a very young age. I was drawing black holes in kindergarten, read encyclopedias, dictionaries and tried reading "the Short History of Time".

I had a decade of severe depression and the person who seemed to be me then, was not me. And I still don't like to hear him being referred to, especially if in second person. After that, I was reborn. I was first pretty loving person, but then it quickly turned in to something else.

Now I seek to hurt many people and I'm very hostile, dismissive and slightly sadist. I still bear some resemblance of respect to almost all people, although I don't believe people see it well, like Agarina said: "You are the most disrespectful person I know" and she knows me pretty well. I kinda seek atonement and forgiveness (fuck Christ). I want others to see that I'm a good, soft and childlike person underneath my (alchohol) spiked shell.

    I am now 21.

I was very extraverted and intellectual, like your typical know-it-all kind of kid, but slightly less annoying (still quite annoying but I wasn't nerdy so at least I had no thick glassess). I was also very responsible up until the age of 11...then I decided I was wasting my life and became more autonomous/aggressive.

Now I'm a bit less intellectual and more physical, but I don't feel like I have changed much.

Very young I liked to climb a lot of things. Gates, boulders, trees, roofs etc. My mother says I had a way with people, somewhat politician-like in being charming/nice, and using that to screen other things and/or get something from them. I assume chipper. Sensitive. Would easily talk to strangers. Asked a lot of questions, especially on tours of places. Kid most likely to get run over by barrelling out in front of a car without noticing. Not big on details or reading things twice. Much homework was marked down because of stupid mistakes in arithmetics or half-read questions briskly mis-answered.

Read A LOT. Employees knew me by name at the big local library. Bright. Very good memory, learned poems for school as I read them. Very aggressive towards people calling me to eat while I was reading. Often forgot the time while playing outside.

Teenage me did a lot of rowing. Clear social introvert. Characterised as someone a bit awkward, who doesn't talk much but talks truthfully. Accused of reading of dictionaries for fun (never did. Not my fault you can't remember vocabulary.)
Still not scared of talking to strangers. Not excessively bothered by public speaking or performing. Good at school. Not many friends but usually good ones. Still read a lot.

As a kid I was more cheeky, materialistic and naive, but similarly withdrawn as today. I wasn't a problematic child because I usually did what my parents told me (I had never really felt the urge to rebel against them, anyway.) Kindergarten teachers referred to me as quiet and artistically talented. I often played outside, but the nerd-seed was already in my head. This was most apparent when me and my brother got a Gameboy. Throughout my childhood I was focusing on 1-2 friends and didn't interact much with others. I was a slow learner (at least in my opinion) at school and I hated homework with a passion. My grades were good, just not super-good. That's why I didn't attend the "elite" school, but the school for average/good students when I was 11 or so. I'm still glad it went this way, because this also kept me from thinking that I was better than others. Later, I got to another type of school and got the best graduation possible with satisfying results. But all in all, I think it helped me to become a better person. Also because the teachers seemed be have a more personal approach to their students.

I don't think I have changed that much in general. My core personality traits were always there, some were strengthenend, others disappeared. But I believe that I'm gradually becoming a better person. That's subjective of course, but according to my own opinion I think it's true.

Then: bossy, overly-emotional, noticed everything and everyone around me.

Now: bossy, more pragmatic and rational, pensive.

Most of what I remember about my childhood was having high standards for my performance, primarily in things like homework and video games. I was naturally pretty bright, and I think for me to not do super well on the things I knew I could do caused me to lash out at others. Even up through high school with things like magic the gathering, I'd throw hissy fits when I lost to somebody who I didn't feel deserved to win. This was in part more due to how I understood the other person's character compared to myself, as if I was the "chosen one" and anything that prevented me from sharing my gifts to the world was inherently unjust.

I don't feel like writing more, maybe later.
