For some reason there's this associative quality of songs where they conjure up images of specific people for me. So whenever I heard this song, for some reason you were the person I always associated with it. I think it just seemed a good fit for the overall ambiance of the song, and maybe lyrically in a way? There are a handful of specific individual elements that I hear that seem to be a good match, but overall, the entire vibe of the song just seems to match how I perceive you.
