    I did it...I came out Sensitive. (64%; 61% Conscientious, 50% four others)

Funny thing is, I always thought the Oldham Idiosyncratic description fit me better than even the INTj description.

Anybody else take this? How does it match up?

OK, so I've read Oldham's book, but I tried to unbias myself by clearing my conscious of what type the question is looking for and clicking my mouse around to keep my unconscious busy....

From the actual descriptions in Oldham's books(the same ones on the site), and how much of my personality appears in the descriptions and the percentages above, I'd say it's a fairly bad test.

So now I know I am an ESTJ.
I have never really like these personality tests, too many difficult questions and all too much wild guessing. I would say leisurely type is not all wrong either, I really do not need much to enjoy my life.

If you want to discuss Oldham, make a thread on it. Simple, eh?
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

    I'm "solitary".

But if there were an "extreme lazy" oldham style, I would have definitely chosen that one.

    So "leisure" seems nice too.

Conscientious and Idiosyncratic are my top two, more so the former. They're both bad fits though. And of course I can relate to parts of other descriptions as well.

Joy, I apologise. I just made a thread which brings to attention what you said in one line in that thread, and which takes me a whole thread to explain.

Joy, I apologise. I just made a thread which brings to attention what you said in one line in that thread, and which takes me a whole thread to explain.
I also explained that in Oldham's theory, we're all a little bit of everything. Only unbalanced, unhealthy individuals relate much more strongly to one than the rest. It's not possible to just pick one.

One the other hand, according to the classic Socionics theory, each of us only has one type, no matter how healthy or unhealthy.

The idea that each Oldham type should correlate to a Socionics type (and vice versa) ignores this. In order to make even somewhat accurate correlations between the theories, it is necessary to correlate each Socionics type to several possible/probable Oldham types. See example of these types of correlations below.

i said i would take a look at those because i don't like some of the correlations you've made (especially with some of the different emphases).

i never did. i probably won't. but know that i, as of now, say that it's something i am thinking about doing (for the next three minutes, anyway).

I'm inclined for artistic, love creating things, dramatic, love doing that for a joke, and sensitive cuz of my dislike for and conflict.

    Hi All,

I was looking for the Oldham description pages that this site used to have earlier. Could someone tell me where I can get that information?

I moved this thread because it belongs in the Other Typologies section, seeing as it is not Socionics related.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

So I've recently been looking these up, cause why not, and I've tested as a Dramatic type. Personally I see no problem with it but I would like some outside input, and also if there is any correlation between this and socionics I would be interested in that also.
