My Point of Least Resistance: Introverted Feeling

We are having fun. Everybody is laughing. I'd even say we are happy. Then it comes: too many different backgrounds, too many different personalities. I crack a joke and I unintentionally offend someone. I didn't want to be mean, but...who's gonna believe me? Being politically correct is so exhausting...there is nothing I can do to fix things now...I have lost another friend...forever...I'm sorry
