It's stated that in identical relations, one person takes on the role of the dual in the relationship. We've discussed whether it would be something that remains consistant or whether the people would sorta take turns filling the role of the dual, depending on the needs of the situation at the time.
Subtypes: In my observations, a person who favors their 1st function more than their 2nd will have a weaker 5th function, and a person who favors their 2nd function will have a weaker 6th function. In other words, an ENTp intuitive subtype would have be more suited to providing to the relationship while an ENTp logical subtype would be more able to provide . Both the 5th and 6th functions are subconcious, but I think in identical relations people respond to the other person's need for those things in order to provide balance. Obviously this would still vary according to the needs of the situation at the time.
