lmfao. Idk, maybe he could be LSE? Stronger Se than Ne tho, thats for shizzle. Ephemeros, what makes you so sure your "revelations" are Ne related?

Ok, what are these intuition-specific insights?
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

I had issues with my SLE friends, they belong to Beta, and in general with the sensing types (my dual gf included): they are not excited by hidden possibilities, connections, revelations, you know? It is impossible for me to explain to them what I find as "genial" in a piece of music, in a film, acting. It is a fascination about something hidden, beyond words. The ones compatible with my intuition, SEIs and SLIs actually are excited by our (ILE and IEE) excitement, instead of the reason for it. They "feed" with our mental nectar in daylight, unable to rejoice the underground source together with us. So, at one point, an intuiter feels alone among sensors, even among hospitable ones.
I believe the reverse is valid, a sensor may feel lonely among intuiters, I guess they feel like living with empty people, people who profit from their observations and products in the material world although unable to enjoy together the moments of the simple pleasures of life. Think about a cook in a mathematicians' club.

Say that something can be done to transform oneself into another type, the specific Ne values would be laughable if you'd ask me then, I wouldn't wish to have them, as a SLE. Although, as an ILE before the change, I'd regret the future loss of them, I'm much more attached to my Intuition than my Logic, even if my choices are either SLE or EIE. I prefer the second case, although the Intuition would have to transmutate into introverted one, but the first case would keep my Logic intact.
Hmmm, i would say that actually sounds related to fe more than anything. The idea of enjoying an internal experience in all its profundity, of tasting the ineffable, the transcendant, in a piece of music, feeling a sense of oneness, empathy, total understanding with an artist while looking at a painting; these are related to subjective internal experiences that are best categorized as Fe "states."

For example, Salvador Dali, famous painter and clear EIE, once said: "I don't need drugs; I am drugs."

Well much of what you say does resonate with me. The part about instruments: i have never found anything but frustration with making music in any way other than with my voice for precisely the same reason; it just doesnt feel natural. That's why writing is my artistic medium of choice: I can be very clear about what I am communicating, and it allows as much contemplation and perfection as i see fit. I feel uncomfortable performing; it makes me feel as though i have learned a skill for the sake of being judged. The exception is, again, my voice, becaus i can really fully feel and control it, and i just enjoy the feeling of release, expulsion, and creation at once.

Also with parties, I constantly think: whats the point? Why am I here? Its tiring and irksome to stand around with people I dont know and not have something to DO. I cant just talk; its boring and often nerve-wracking.

get fucking hammered. only survival tactic. i think in eugene mirman's recent book on proper living he mentions parties of this variety and survival techniques and to summarize the general idea is to have fun, but don't do anything that will earn you a nickname. hooray. but with this i'm sure you are already familiar, so my second advice is to say that growing up sucks.

In general I agree it is silly that people talk about life having "meaning," because i derive satisfaction from giving things meaning or importance to me; ultimate meaning is pointless because i dont get to decide and it therefore may seem empty to me.

Also i resonate with "interpreting art differently;" i think all true artists who are not just phony politicians with a "hidden message" will agree that real art is about making an impact, experiencing something transcendant - not "getting it right." I often find different things in a single piece of art, things that may not have been intended, and part of the intrigue is speculating whether it was meant to be seen, or whether it was done subconsciously, or maybe i just put it there, and why would i do that? Experiencing and contemplating and creating and learning about ourselves are the true joys of art imo.

I saw this thread title and thought I'd have to be all and and , and then pull out a super awesome analysis of why you are unefille > octopuslove, but I'm glad to see that will be redundant. So instead:
    allez cuisine!
