For the technically-minded here, I don't suppose there's some way to automatically convert links to the new format? It would be rather a lot of work to go hunt down all those old threads and update the links to them by hand...

Yeah this is a great resource and it'd be a shame to lose all of it just because the formatting changed. So my suggestion isn't quite automatic but you could do a simple find-and-replace in your favorite word processor. If there were enough links, someone with a little coding knowledge could probably write up something to do the replacing and parsing automatically.
