SLEs are more comfortable with conflict and probably more likely to be lawyers and "big shot" businessmen. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if a great many lawyers were SLE.

LSIs are more likely to pursue something more academic in nature, with the idea of fixing it/refining it. There are probably a lot of LSI scientists and mathematicians.

Both types will enjoy having power in some difficult subject. One reason I enjoy economics is because, to truly understand it, you need to have a good grasp of both the Ti and Te aspects of it, which entails being comfortable with math, rules, and having a good grasp of common sense thinking. It also requires a solid grasp of history. Basically, talking about it to people who aren't familiar with it grants instant prestige.

I started watching Grounded for Life (the tv show) today so I'll be able to spot my future wife in the bushes and sneak up on her before she realizes what hit her.

Seriously. Go start a new thread, Pinnochio. This argument isn't interesting enough to be in a thread originally dedicated to those paragons of awesome, beta STs. Either someone throw a metaphorical chair, or leave. smileyface.
Not a rule, just a trend.

IEI. Probably Fe subtype. Pretty sure I'm E4, sexual instinctual type, fairly confident that I'm a 3 wing now, so: IEI-Fe E4w3 sx/so. Considering 3w4 now, but pretty sure that 4 fits the best.

    Yes 'a ma'am that's pretty music...

I am grateful for the mystery of the soul, because without it, there could be no contemplation, except of the mysteries of divinity, which are far more dangerous to get wrong.

This kind of shit is retarded. Beta STs are everywhere. I met an SLE-Ti chick at a coffee shop yesterday. Anyone asking this question needs to get out more or stop expecting people to tell them where their soulmate is conveniently located at a Wal-Mart near you.

no need to be bitchy about it.

besides, I'm not looking for my "soulmate", just more beta STs including females. which, I think I already mentioned in this very thread.

If you want to know where the successful ones are, I think what I wrote might have some validity as far as Beta ST academic orientation is concerned.

maybe, i think i see most betas in the school of business. I think there is maybe 1 in my the chemistry program, and no beta ST professors. Engineering probably has more, but most are delta ST. The law school, most definitely is betas, lots of both NF and ST.

Ok, fair. There probably are a shitload of SLE lawyers; I think it's kind of a Beta Extrovert-geared profession: self-presentation, persuasion, uncompromising nature, morally difficult decisions that require questionable compromises,

There are also a lot of Beta STs in the arts, though: music, acting (Beta rational havens here; I've found a surprising number of LSIs both in the industry or attempting to break in), visual media (lots of Se primaries here), literature (IEIs practically dominate the most appealing genres), etc.

This must be why I randomly recite Shakespeare and do on-the-spot movie scene reenactments.
