Have you ever met an IEI who's not an E4? What other enneagram types are possible/likely for IEI's?

I'm a 6.
4, 6, or 9. Even some 1s or 2s or 5s. It's not really all that correlated.
LOL
E9 seems possible? E6... idk. I'm not doubting you, but I've had bad experiences with Fi valuing E6's, and I'm not sure what a Fe valuing E6 would even look like.
I can sort of see an E5 IEI, but at the same time I'd feel like they just need to be helped out of their shell. IEI E1 or E2? That sounds even more like neurosis. I could sort of see an E3 IEI though, as odd as an E3 IP sounds. But at the same time, maybe they'd just need to calm down.
I guess to me the E4/IEI combination is one of the strongest of the Socionics/Enneagram correlations. It's right up there with E5/INTx and E9/Si dominant.

3, 4, might be a 5 out there, 6, 9
4, 9, 6, 5
2? probably not.
imo.
yeah, mostly 4s.
IEI-Fe 4w3
There are definitely IEI 3s. ScarlettLux is one of them.
Ni subs, too. Did you ever meet Anielka/Sycophant/Sara?
Funny, how you incorrectly think you're her dual.
I thought I was a three for a minute there. Still not positive that I'm 4w3 over 3w4. Definitely some IEI 5s. I could've been a five, or at least a five wing, but I think my wing switched over time, or developmentally I took a different path. But now that I think about it, it was always motivated by my desire to not be "beneath" other people, which I relate to the idea of envy with 4s. I just decided that a better way to prove I'm not beneath people is to go out and beat them at everything rather than to withdraw from the world and pretend that they don't exist!
Anyway, I'd say, enneagram types for IEIs:
Most likely: 4, 9
Moderately likely: 3, 5, 6, 7
Unlikely: 1, 2, 8
Not a rule, just a trend.
IEI. Probably Fe subtype. Pretty sure I'm E4, sexual instinctual type, fairly confident that I'm a 3 wing now, so: IEI-Fe E4w3 sx/so. Considering 3w4 now, but pretty sure that 4 fits the best.
Yes 'a ma'am that's pretty music...
I am grateful for the mystery of the soul, because without it, there could be no contemplation, except of the mysteries of divinity, which are far more dangerous to get wrong.
I'd say:
Most common: 4
Common: 3, 6, 9
Rare: 5, 7, 2
Very rare/nonexistant: 1, 8
I've never seen a Three IEI in real life. I don't believe it's possible. I think if we all got to know Annie properly, in real life, we'd see that she was either not a Three or not an IEI. I'm more inclined to say that she's not a Three, but I could be happy with EIE.
I've seen IEIs who could be Nines or Sevens on the surface, but once you get to know them, no chance.
Well 4w3s can have similar surface characteristics to 7s, especially so/sx or sx/so subtypes: hedonism, extroversion, distinctive appearance, etc. But I think most of the core traits tend to correlate better to 4.
I am fairly certain that IEI 3s exist. I can't think of a stack of them off the top of my head, but I've certainly encountered people for whom it was certainly the most suitable typing.
Well la de fucking da.
What type is Joy?
She considers herself SLE. Gilly, DJ, and some others strongly disagree. I don't particularly care, but she seems like a cool person. Hardly surprising (from internet persona) that her and DJ didn't quite work out.
EDIT: Oh, not to say that DJ isn't a nice person, just you can tell how the wouldn't have gotten along, I think.

She is certainly Se; her descriptions of Se experiances are very telling; how can anyone disagree? She can describe the objects features/character/looks very well even in here...

Redbaron goes crazy for Se so there is no mistaking that they are very attracted to each other's functions.

Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?
I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Come on IEI 9? How? I think they can appear like 9s but not underneath. 9 isn't that beta.
IEI, sp/sx 4w3.

If I had to guess, I would guess that sigma is an IEI 9. I don't know what he considers himself, though.

It's not really all that odd. People just don't follow neat patterns like that. A 3 infp doesn't really sound that odd at all. Some 3s get mistyped as 4s cause both types tend to be overly-focused on identity and image. And when unhealthy, both 3s and 4s suffer from narcissism.I can sort of see an E5 IEI, but at the same time I'd feel like they just need to be helped out of their shell. IEI E1 or E2? That sounds even more like neurosis. I could sort of see an E3 IEI though, as odd as an E3 IP sounds. But at the same time, maybe they'd just need to calm down.
I agree with Gilly pretty much. 1, 7, 8 for an INFp is probably a no-go but I see any other type as plausible with of course some correlations more common then others.
I can easily see an INFp Fe subtype as a 2. Not so much a Ni one though.
Why are you trying to connect the dots when the dots can't really be connected? Enneagram and socionics are two very different things.Come on IEI 9? How? I think they can appear like 9s but not underneath. 9 isn't that beta.
Personally, I feel that you could get confused about Fives and Nines being IEI, but that all types besides Four are basically out of bounds if you have any real life experience. Six I'm in a kind of pendulum state of mind about - I'm not so sure.
Ok, I'm just going to drop the hammer once and for all. The enneatypes I have specifically known IEIs to be, via real life experience, are 3, 4, 6, and 9.
zomg, there's a hammer on the ground!
I believe IEI's are often 5w4's
The end is nigh
