it isn't any kind of proof for one type or another. it isn't proof of anything type related actually. there are people of the same type that can tolerate him, and those who hate him. it barely has to do with type, more of the individuals patience and experience with people like ashton. for instance, ashton has the ability to highly offend my sense of right and wrong, yet i barely ever get the urge to react on it. while other people of my type (whatever type that is) are tempted to yell and scream and shout at him until they are blue in the face.
getting along with ashton doesn't have to mean you like him, or like his behavior either.
it's actually pretty hard for me to say one way or another. ashton himself doesn't seem that bad, however, he gets into these states where i would definitely not having him around in my life if i knew him IRL. he would be toxic and i wouldn't want to waste my energy trying to find a cure. i don't even get defensive anymore when he attacks people i love or otherwise...because all i see is someone throwing a fit for attention. like he might not even mean the horrid things he is saying...he's just saying them for some kind of attention or for reasons he isn't even aware of. i am in NO WAY saying that this excuses ANYTHING that he does or says. i'm merely explaining how i react to him, in his evil form and in his civil form.
so, in conclusion...just because allie has gotten along with him at one point or another is absolutely irrelevant to her type. it's very ignorant and not to mention just plain stupid to continue thinking it does...at least from my point of view it is.

you're dead wrong. allie's association with ashton is among the most telling facets of her personality, not necessarily in the context of the fact that she deals with ashton, but i think that the manner in which allie subscribes to ashton's behavior and his ideals is an extremely pertinent application of her type. this is particularly evident as far as how it has affected her socionics conceptualizations, but not at all the only such application.
um. yes.
while she might take a "why flap my wings at something i can't change?" approach, it's very clear that a great deal of the way she interprets the topic is motivated by an approach very similar to ashton's. additionally things like her moral support towards somebody like dolphin and random interspersed beta comments (such as this) is evidence for how ashtonian affiliation has affected her viewpoint. note strrrng's reaction to the linked thread.
she will also deny this has any influence on her thinking.
no i am not trying to be cute. i really do want to murder you. i am fantasizing about it. i was saying i wanted to take a shower and wash blood off of me. although a shower in your blood would be interesting, but a little unrealistic.
Of course he isn't. And what "conspiracy" are you talking about? To recognize Ashton's symptoms of mental illness and inherent rotten character has nothing to do with "conspiracy". If you want to call yourself a "guy like him", be my guest, but leave me out of it, for one. Rubbish.

It isn't pointless to see evidence for someone's argument for typing another person. I was asking where the arguments for Allie being Ni base function are and / or for new arguments based on interactions with her, posts made by her, etc. Even if I "did" have a different understanding of Ni I would still want to know why someone else thinks she is Ni, so that I can see where that person is coming from. It is not pointless for me to have that new information.

niffweed looks like a spider in real life .
That looks like something I would make.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
for some reason it creeps me out that you went on my myspace , saved my picture , and edited it

her annoyed side is coming out ... she was annoyed by you .
If they knew that they would receive uncomfortable compliments on their looks, maybe. I don't think you should attribute such a trivial thing to a type. I mean, how the fuck does a function relate to that behavior? Does Se = confidence? I'm curious.Originally Posted by ephemeros

Ephemeros, what an horrible description of an ISFJ. In fact, I think an ENTP would be more likely to say half of those things.
