This thread is fucking confusing. Someone explain it to me.

"What is love?"
"The total absence of fear," said the Master.
"What is it we fear?"
"Love," said the Master.
I chose Love

I said what I said because I want to make sure there is differentiation between what socionics actually is, and people attributing things to it. "-isms" are not inherent to any quadra. They can be used to help describe or make general remarks.
But no "quadra value" contains environmentalism. Quadra values are IM elements, not social movements or social opinion. Quadra values can be expressed in various ways, such as a person finding a passionate cause to support, or be an activist about - and that may be appealing to a person who is a beta type. But the same thing is also appealing to other people, too. One quadra alone does not have exclusivity over something like environmentalism.
Or fascism, for that matter.
PS: I seem to be making a lot of posts like this latley, so, perhaps I should refrain.
I'm confused because apparently mpiazza started this thread, but so did Winterpark.
Hey, I thought I started this thread.
“Whether we fall by ambition, blood, or lust, like diamonds we are cut with our own dust.”

So they have requested that they be swapped about then?
Well - say INFP is the reconciler - isn't the act of recycling to reconcile? isn't the act of becoming aware of our impact on the earth a form of reconciliation to our mother (earth)? I think environmentalism can emerge in any quadrant member, however, I think the Betas are most likely to champion this kind of thing. They are lead by the conscientious personality type, too, which makes me think also that environmentalism is really is a beta value. Alphas can design systems that are environmentally sound, but I think the initial value is to create whatever serves people or whatever their mind can conceptualize.
But the beta will look at it and say 'ok, but..." and the Gammas will just try to sell and design crap no matter the method of manufacture (including human suffering and environmental damage as long as it sells), but they can, having been informed by betas - do their best - like Project(Red) i would say is an example of Gammas half assed attempting to be accountable to humanity - and Deltas - I think Deltas are the final stage and they're likely to stick to whatever is thought of as acceptable by society at large - and it takes 40 years for an idea to be accepted - so they can adopt environmentalism - or they can embody it through simplicity, but it's the betas that will champion it and I think it relates directly to our personality types.
I just think that betas shouldn't be afraid to define what they inherently represent - which to me is kind of the willingness to go against the grain - no matter the consequences - if they believe it is imperative to the survival of humanity.
This is what I perceive. Thank you for your time.

p.s. can you explain IM elements - please excuse my ignorance
