Hahaha. Careful what you say. I'm starting to get the feeling ENFps are really really sensitive

But I sort of understand the point. For example ENFp might start their own small business rather than being a gear in a big company (even a gear in a high position). In the end the ENFp might have made less money and have less power than would have been possible for his/her talents. For the ENFp this might still feel like they have really achieved something unique to be proud of. For some other types this means they have wasted a lot of talent and are "underachievers" in that sense. Not fulfilling their whole potential in their yearn for uniqueness.

So, not underachievers compared to the average population but compared to their level of talent. ENFps just measure "success" in their own special way.

I think ISTps are also underachievers because they often choose the "fun road" instead of the "best road". So I think ENFp and ISTp couple could understand each others need to "do their own thing" in life. I have sometimes trouble to explain my ISFj wife what is so great about the "fun road" I'm taking. I think she would appreciate the ENTj competence and achievement approach more Ah, sweet duality.

Welcome fever, by now I assume that you understand the happenings in our quadra, and how we plan to establish order to the forums. I have assembled the list of people in our force:

    anndelise , kim , sunflower , nicky

    schr"odinger's cat , rocky , diana , tepa
    ,
topaz darklord , Theblueblade , XoX

    ENFperator , kioshi? , electric? , flower

    Jadae , arcanum (me)

There are supposed to be 19, if I am missing someone please tell me...

Yeah darklord is quite right. I guess for some of us, fitting in is a painful thing. Actually fitting in is quite a painful thing for delta. INFj's are commonly percieved as anti-social, nerdy, otherworldly, and ISTp's are percieved as ... i don't know someone help me here, ESTj's are percieved as stiff-necked, forceful individuals, and ENFp's are sometimes percieved as deviants, underachievers, i don't know... I guess everyone has a problem with fitting in it's just whether you're conscious of it or not. Sometimes our weaknesses are our strengths
Let's not think of how we are perceived but as what we are. Like flower said, no one will judge anyone here.

    Peace

No problem. I wasn't offended, actually. I should have added *clears throat* or something like that. Sorry. The question was real, though, not rhetorical; I've no idea how ENFPs come across, so I wanted to find out more.

I think it's funny that between his suggestion that we are devients and underachievers, underachievers bothered you more

I don't mind being a slacker. Not sure what to think about the "devient" thing though.

It is a big trip down here (or should I say "up here", hehe). Everyone's welcome here UDP, so you can stay.

It is apparent that intjs and infjs have a common outlook on the nature of the world. In other words, we could die out of such a trivial thing as taking care of our physical bodies.

ENFp's are wonderful people because they are thoughtful, caring, and kind, as Diana said, and they also do beautiful work. EN sometimes makes their work very different and unexpected, which is good, but people who prefer the pedestrian and mainstream work will look down on them as deviants and unproductive dreamers. Same goes to ISTp I guess, SJ's think we're bad at time management (which is true if an ISTp is looking at a view point of a SJ) and our work is of little importance. Perspective plays a part because people think we are very weak in areas which made us strong. For example if we do not spend time in things we find monotonous, mainstream and boring we would never have done stuff which we would have done. Like beautiful stuff. Who wants a really really really nice and creamy and yummy rabbit sweet?

Deviant is good. I think my ISTP brother and I agree on this: people call "normality" is so abnormal and weird... why on earth should we fit in with that?! We just do our own thing, and sometimes it fits in, and sometimes it doesn't...

Yeah but "devient" is used in such a negative way. I like "quirky" or "eccentric" better.

True. It's not "deviant", it's "in consequence of idiocultural differences".

It's not called being "deviant". It's called being "independent and free-spirited" .

Blah...I'm leaving Delta at least temporarily. Ok, I might still write here but I have to check whether I fit in to my new quadra with all the crazy ESTps and weird INFps and non-existent ISTjs
