Hahaha. Careful what you say. I'm starting to get the feeling ENFps are really really sensitiveOriginally Posted by BlueBlade
But I sort of understand the point. For example ENFp might start their own small business rather than being a gear in a big company (even a gear in a high position). In the end the ENFp might have made less money and have less power than would have been possible for his/her talents. For the ENFp this might still feel like they have really achieved something unique to be proud of. For some other types this means they have wasted a lot of talent and are "underachievers" in that sense. Not fulfilling their whole potential in their yearn for uniqueness.
So, not underachievers compared to the average population but compared to their level of talent. ENFps just measure "success" in their own special way.
I think ISTps are also underachievers because they often choose the "fun road" instead of the "best road". So I think ENFp and ISTp couple could understand each others need to "do their own thing" in life. I have sometimes trouble to explain my ISFj wife what is so great about the "fun road" I'm taking. I think she would appreciate the ENTj competence and achievement approach more Ah, sweet duality.
