Brown tie + crappy comb-over + creepy toothy smile = ENTj
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
lol, he looks a bit like "jaws" from James Bond movie

*ahem*,where's the food? I'm hungry, you know.

If you're in this forum to learn something, be careful. Lots of misplaced toxicity.

So... what is his type?

ENTj, No doubt.
Any suggestions?
We did this a long time ago when I posted a picture of him eating someone. I think.
We saw him speak on Saturday. It was quite invasive.
He's ESTp. (And not because he's invasive.)
I can imagine... he creeps me out. It brings up the question we were talking about in the NLP thread though about how much one can alter one's own personality. I'm not sure how much of him is the real person and how much is the mask he's created.Originally Posted by Joy
anyways he annoys me to no end so ESTp sounds good to me.
he told the audience to hug eachother
I think he's an ESTp sensory subtype that has altered his personality to be more Fe. It's funny when he tries talking about Ni stuff. He sorta fumbles through it. He did it every once in a while, and each time Peter said to me, "What's he talking about?" and I explained what Tony meant to say.
yeah from what I've read about his seminars the hug a stranger as if he were your best friend thing is one of his major accomplishments
I don't like how he's commercialized NLP, watered it down into something pop. Then again I've never been to one of his seminars so I could be mistaken about that. It's just the impression I get from what I've read about him and his system.
it's pretty much just a Se extravaganza
There were a lot of ESTp keynote speakers there.
I never really formed an opinion because I've never actually heard him speak. The quotes Peter txted me during were quite hilarious though
He doesn't really look ESTp though, more ENTj (and you know that I have no problem saying that the shittiest people of the world are ESTps )

I was thinking he looks more ISTj...
but I dunno, genetics can make any type have a huge nose or jaw or forehead or whatever
I wouldn't trust V.I. on this one. The guy had a tumor in his pituitary gland, which is bound to have pretty big physical implications (like his height).Originally Posted by Joy

yeah, I was thinking that he may have a connective tissue disorder or some other physical condition when I said "genetic"

Hope Tony is gamma-beta. It's going to make sense.
His message: There is something to gain and you should go for it. Sounds like Se HA with base Fe aka EIE. Huge Se overdrive, though. I don't really like grown up male cheerleaders to be honest. This is where me and beta NFs don't understand each other. He is also using Ni which just seems to harass my ignoring spot.
He has probably moved lots of LSIs from point A to B.
EDIT:
He is even making miracles...

i agree with Fe dom. I could almost see ESE over EIE.
Rational VI without any doubt. Valued Ni/Se. LIE or LSI. He seems Logical (but this doesn't equal smart, ofc...).
EJ Arendee typed him EIE and I figured that was realistic, although now I'm starting to feel like he's wrong a lot more than I originally suspected... Either way, would that be accurate?
I wouldn't trust EJ Arendee. Just from his history here and his youtube page, he changes his own type so much that there is no way you could trust his typings. That said, I highly doubt Tony Robbins is ENTj. He seems very ethical or Fe valuing at the very least. You also can't trust any of the typings on this forum from 2005-2008. The people seemed to treat types more like MBTI and there was this strange ENTp admiration that led people to type just about anyone appealing ENTp (especially in the 2005-2006 time period).

Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?
I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

*bumping bc I'm watching his Netflix thing and pondering his type*
I notice how hyper-aware he seems to be of Fe -- he reads it in crowds and individual people; times his entrances, words, actions to have maximum impact; and psychs himself up in deliberate ways.
He strikes me as a Fe-valuing, probably Fe-ego, rational extravert, Ni-valuing, Se>>>>>>Si... so EIE.
Thoughts?

I remember seeing him typed as SEE and from what I've glimpsed of his interviews SEE typing approximates his persona closer than other types. Gamma extro > Beta in any case. He's present, and to me he seems too preoccupied with the minute control of the immediate situation than Ni egos generally are, which would imply S > N. As for anything resembling Fe that's likely his creative social instinct working the crowd. SEE-Fi 8w7 (sx/so?) - not sure of sub, I've considered e3 but he has this major external control focus that I've only seen with 8s.
This man is Fe leading, and most likely Si creative judging by the eyes. I would not get along with this man in the least bit.
First impression SEE. But I also get an impression of intuitive. Fi valuing nonetheless.
