She didn't necessarily write or direct or produce that video. She could just have been dressed up and told to sit there and sing.

True.
From this site."Waking Up in Vegas" is the fourth and final single to be released from Katy Perry's album, One of the Boys. It was written by Katy Perry, Desmond Child and Andreas Carlsson. It is produced by Greg Wells and co-produced by Perry.
The song I assume. The Se/Ni valuing is in the song too though. Can you imagine someone with a Se PoLR responding well to someone who says stuff like that?
Watching the waking up in vegas video for example, all the way through you can see Fe, but I think it is most prominent when she is sliding in the bowling alley (or at least most natural, and again a relatively alpha thing to do in a video). And in the interview, I don't see it being that situational, maybe nerves have a bit to do with it, but when she starts talking about her parents being hippies and the crowd reacts she opens up that much more.
Where do you see that?
LII?
She has strong Fe. She could be SEE though.

Strong Fe or a focus on Fe?
SEE could work.
It seemed to come pretty naturally to her in the interview to me.

The song is a bitter recollection, and also from the language, it does not really sound like she was talking to an infantile (I don't see any infantile setting up such a bet, at least not unless trying to display some machismo. More likely a beta/gamma making that challenge). In such a case where the consequences are not quite what she thought, I am sure she would be angry and the language would be entirely suitable.
With the suggestion that she may be SEE, that I am pretty certain she is not. Her Se (or rather her manifestation of Se) is a reaction rather than a primary state.
LII?
You think the song sounds angry?
To me it sounds fun and carefree. "What did I do last night? Whoops! LOL" It's about partying and makes light of the consequences of partying too hard. It even says not to be a baby about it.
The sound itself is not angry, but the lyrics do have an angry slant. And the don't be a baby about it is said as she kicks him out of the house. I think comparing her to Khola's posts, where even when angry it still sounds a bit carefree. If it were a Se ego (Pink, Lindsay Lohan...) there would be a lot more visible/audible anger included.
LII?
Did you see this topic?
The term "money and power" sounds bad because it has social connotations. I don't mean it in that way though. There's a difference between an obsession with and a focus on. And I'm certainly not saying that those things are going to be the top priority in Se/Ni types. I'm saying that they're part of the Se aspect of things.I'd hope that's not a defining characteristic of Se/Ni people in general.
No I didn't read that actually. I don't think it really detracts from an SEI typing though.
I am currently watching the interview they have there and I am even more convinced.
When she talks about the guy dumping her, even then she is still playful with it, laughing at her reaction to the incident.
LII?
Maybe she's singing about money and power in an sarcastic way.

She is not SEE. That is final. Joy, stop polluting the world. Go sniff something
She seems to have this lightness and gentleness to her in the interviews that just doesn't feel compatible with leading Se to me.

Her eyes just look extremely Te-valuing though. I can just tell I'd clash with her. Her entire energy makes me uncomfortable. It's really not about a person being 'sweet' or 'overbearing', it's just more nuanced then that. I keep repeating myself with that, but it's true. Her songs are catchy, but they hit all my weak spots, and I do the same to her.
The entire face of her shape, and her eyes are just.....extremely Te.
If I end up typing her as LSE I've got some splaining to do to Kam...
The end is nigh
She doesn't seem Se, especially compared to other likely Se female musicians like Madonna, P!nk, Lady Gaga, etc. She doesn't scare me.
I could easily see her as an LSE who just needs to calm down
Some bits from a Google search
This could easily be an LSE-IEI conflict relationIs 'Hot N Cold' about a real relationship?
"Yeah, a very real relationship! I was with this boy I really, really cared for and we'd be having a conversation by text or by email and then he'd just disappear. For like three days! It would drive me crazy 'cause I'd be like, 'Where'd you go? I thought we were making plans for this weekend?' I realised this guy was the moodiest motherf***er I ever met and honestly that's all it came down to. He changed moods like he was going through the menopause."
Could be FiNe seeking, though not conclusive"I want somebody who's got enough balls to say no to me sometimes -I find it boring when guys always say yes to me. I definitely want somebody who inspires me and can teach me"
"I guess one thing that’s the same with all of the men I’ve dated is that they’re all communicators and they’re all sensitive,”

All I know is that she looks fucking hot running around in that wedding dress. She can chase me all day
There's something kind of addictive about this video...
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...

I lean towards LSE though.
I took a deep breath and listened to the old bray of my heart. I am. I am. I am.

Okay, so I'm alright with Te dominance for her. (It does sound sorta like she just really needs some Fi.) My question is why LSE > LIE? Other than that some of the IEI's feel threatened by her?
(btw, supervisors are far more threatening than conflictors)
Te, lol... Where do you guys get your ideas? Explain to me the various aspects of Te she holds dearly, I'd honestly like to know. I'm curious, I want to know why. I might not know her personally all that well from sources, but so far in sources I haven't seen a "Te" dominance anywhere. Oh wait, she has a Te face, nevermind...
I lean towards ISFp.
How's that?
Also, have you seen the Hot and Cold video?
No. That music sucks and I'm not interested. I did watch various interviews though, with some of that material in it.
You have a point.

I agree with LSE. She definitely doesn't like "victim" men, that's for sure. Or is it... "infantile" men?
