true. I guess I just see it being done in a more pronouncedly 'ethical' way with Fi/Te types, but it's hard to qualify. I see the tendency in people like you and lungs though, fwiw.
well, it's not like I think Fi types are doctrinal, just that there always seems to be an implicit (if distantly and generally manifest) code or method of ethical appraisal latent in their attitudes and behaviors. Ti/Fe types can have a 'code' of sorts as well, but it manifests differently -- more abstract than strictly personal. what I'm getting at can be seen in writers like tolstoy and dostoevsky: they never come right out and say it, but the way they comment on characters gives away a certain internally-held standard of value; I see Ti/Fe types being a bit more open-ended, in this regard.I'm EII and it'd be more than just misleading to say I follow some ethical code/guideline/principle(s). Belief-wise I'm a moral non-cognitivist, and in practice rather... flexible? Like it's not too important to follow my own advice if not following makes life more fun. Peole that preach about morals or have strict guidelines tend to piss me off and I generally like upsetting them (often even if I think they have a point).
