4w5 is probably the best enneagram type related with SEI.

SEI +-- is the most frequent.

Then, SEI ---. Likely second or third most frequent. Not rare, then.

It's pretty much like comparing LII 00- to LII 0+-.

Better question: where were you when machintruc actually asked that question?

That's apparently the most common E-type for SEIs. It makes you an S+D-... friendly and lazy.

That's... 0++, very rare for SEIs. But I think Enneagram types vary more with experiences than sociotypes do. Doesn't the main Enneagram type say that E-types have to be able to change?

So it's impossible to have a direct E-type/Sociotype connection, because that would require Sociotypes changing.

No. General consensus in the Enneagram community (yes, there actually IS one) is that basic e-type doesn't change. Not that you can't have qualities generally associated with a particular type, but your type doesn't fundamentally change, despite growth, devolution, health, lack thereof, etc.
Certainly, there are dissenters, but really, they're just rabble-rousers. Like the 1w5 "I'm not limited to an adjacent wing" crowd...

If you are a 4, you are always a 4. Not the same 4 you always were, but nevertheless, an enneagram type 4.

    Even if SEI's could be D+, they'd be S- or S+, not S0. I don't really think they can.

    SLI's can be D+, though.

    most frequent to least :

SEI : 9 4 2 ; we can call them mediators, rednecks, and comedians

No. You are wrong about that. The "Anything goes" forum is for those who are not taking questions of truth seriously. If you want to spread false information, maybe you cannot do it there to some extent, but you are not allowed to do it here. Your expressed attitude here is morally repulsive.

I was half joking, but if you want to get serious ....

Calling people liars for stating their honest opinions (apart from being incredibly bad manners) is morally repulsive IMO. You seem to think that you can get away with insulting people left, right and centre because you're an INTp. That's rubbish. Morals! Hah! Where are yours? Why don't you take a break from socionics for awhile, find an etiquette school on the North Pole and enrol in all their classes. Seriously.

That's debatable, but it is a question of trivial importance in relation to the big issue here, which is that people (you included) keep spreading bullshit about the types. It is important, IMO, not to make obviously false statements about the types (the Enneatypes included), and this thread is so full of them that it stinks.

You could seriously think about what I have said. Hopefully you will realize some day that the truth deserves some more respect from you. If you feel insulted, that's too bad, but it is also a question of minor importance here.

I will not apologize to you or anyone else in this thread, but all of you also know that my intentions are not hostile. I only care about getting things right, and that means correcting false beliefs. I don't really expect you to understand that attitude of mine, but it's the truth anyway.
