enfj?
I can't explain it logically, but from what I've read and observed I get a strong intuitive feeling about these two being IEI.
That damn smile...
I'm not familiar with Radnor, but Fallon kinda strikes me as Ne-valuing over Se. (IxE, maybe?)
On his late night show (by far the best), things get a little awkward(er) with more intense/dominant/aggressive guests. Rather than really warming up to the tension and meeting 'em halfway, he kinda stays the goofy kid he always is and keeps some distance.
What that means type-wise (if anything), I'm not really sure, though.
He's too emotive to be ILE and IEEs value Fi. Fallon emits a lot of emotional energy.
Radnor is from How I Met Your Mother, by the way.
I've been wondering about Fallon and was thinking about making a thread myself.
I was thinking SEI, although I haven't been able to sit through one of his shows long enough to tell

He's awkward as fuck and his jokes are the lamest. How did he ever get the tonight show?
updated typing: IEE-Fi so/sp 6w5 would be my guess for him

IEE. Notice how he doesn't know how to react to Russell Brand's beta-Fe antics, lol..although I guess you can't blame him.
I've typed him IEE in the past but idk I think his humor sucks... i really dont like the tonight show now. He was better on on his own show though.
Then again, IEE's cant joke, so maybe not inconsistent. But Ellen is really funny so idk. Love her.
EDIT: just watched suedehead's video above... i still agree on IEE. I guess he just needs to get better at his comedy.
Enneagram: 9w1 6w5 2w3 so/sx
I'm obsessed with him lately.....I have a feeling he is an IEI
He's incredibly nice to everyone, has humility but is ultra competitive when it comes to the games (lol), and I'm almost always attracted to good looking IEIs
Beta NF. Maybe IEI. I disagree with IEE because Conan is IEE and they are just so different. Fallon is so uncomfortable when he had Bill Burr (SLI) on his show while Conan loved him.
Burr on Fallon:
Burr on Conan:
IEE-Fi, don't see IEI in him (partly because I dated both an IEE-Fi who looked almost exactly like Fallon and an IEI who looked and moved a different way)
regarding Burr I don't think all "duals" are going to immediately hit it off, Conan is either IEE or ILE (leaning towards ILE for him, so Fi PoLR feeling more at ease with some of the sharper remarks possibly than smn strongly Fi valuing), but seems that if Fallon was IEE-Ne he would have been more in sync with the above guest than an IEE-Fi would. And then goes in the enneagram...
just my 2 cents
INFP
Nah, I can't believe that he should be IEI.
Well, I didn't see much of him because he was pretty boring to me in the first place. His jokes seem to be very obvious and I get a vibe that I heard them like thousand times. In my opinion, he doesn't really radiate that much originality as Ni-dominants tend to do.

SEI-Fe, So/Sx
Moderate to strong subtype, in addition to being So/Sx – can make him appear like an extrovert.
But when you watch videos of him "behind the scenes", it is apparent he's an introvert.
Also, it is rather obvious he is an Alpha type, imo. Fe valuing, as well as Ne/Si valuing.
This is reflected by the kind of games he likes to play with his guests, for example.
He tends to dislike those games that are demanding much force or overt competition.
That would make him similar to Graham Norton, hm. isn't a good fit for him, the instant snark and absurdity is missing.
He seems so soft and easily offended. He doesn't know what to say. I also don't know what he's doing in Hollywood because he has like zero charm or assertiveness.... and doesn't really feel like he fits in there. I think hitta would make him cry. He should work quietly in a library somewhere, or something. It is cringe-worthy and awkward to watch him. He is too introverted and hesitant and takes too long to reply and is totally overpowered easily. And I thought I was bad.... I'm sorry if I sound too harsh but it just doesn't translate well to being a host.
I really, really enjoy his work a lot.
I can relate to him a bunch, too.
It's nice to see a few others have typed him accurately in the Poll.
I say ISFP-Fe (THE SOCIALITE per astralsilkyonix )

Definitely Alpha. SEI seems right.
Looks SEI-Fe. He smiles but doesn't look happy in most of his pictures for some reason
Has anyone considered ESI yet? He looks exactly like an ISFJ I know facewise.
SEI
SEI-Fe seems right. He looks fragile in that Fe creative way, ex. like you could make him cry in a matter of minutes.

I'd agree with SEI for Fallon
In this theme (which is 15 yo) I'm also the only with correct voting.
something tells me IEE
Lol not Intuitive... Sensory + Ethical. Not Gamma.
He is overwhelmingly typed as ESFJ in MBTI places. Like over 300 votes toppling the runner up ESFP.

Probably IEE>ILE. Comedians are generally ILI or ILE I think, he seems extroverted.
He considered becoming a priest when he was younger, before deciding to become a comedian. He's seemingly not religious now. That makes me lean more NF than NT.
I see his biography has accounts of him being an alcoholic, binge-drinking, occasionally getting into bar fights (maybe in the past). There's also reports from staff on his show about how he mistreated staff and was prone to outbursts, which sounds like irrational behaviour, and possibly some evidence for ILE>IEE. But IEE seems about right at the moment.
"In September 2023, Rolling Stone published an article about Fallon and the Tonight Show workplace culture titled "Chaos, Comedy, and 'Crying Rooms': Inside Jimmy Fallon's 'Tonight Show'", based on interviews with 16 former and then-active employees. It alleged that Fallon mistreated his staff, acted erratically, was prone to outbursts, and contributed to a toxic workplace culture. According to former employees, Fallon's behavior on a given day seemed to be related to whether he was allegedly hungover from the previous night. The abuse led to many employees referring to the special guests' dressing rooms as the crying rooms because that is where the employees would go to let out their emotions. NBC released a statement, defending the program, but they did not address the allegations against Fallon.[74] The day of the article's publication, he apologized to his staff on a Zoom call, saying: "It's embarrassing and I feel so bad. Sorry if I embarrassed you and your family and friends."
