Not type related. I think most people are past the stereotyping of types. You may of had better results about a year and a half ago when people were still learning about socionics.

Perhaps you aren't, but I think it's clear that some people are still learning about Socionics, let alone engaging in stereotyping. I'm pretty sure some stereotypes still exist in my own thinking, too.

I do very well agree that this topic is silly and biased, but if I had to choose, I would probably say any type within the super-ego (i.e. Alpha and Beta ethical types), especially INFps and ISFps.

I didn't bother voting, but at least I gained mild amusement from those who failed to recognise the humour or sarcasm in various places. As a result, said people (and obviously therefore their types, since clearly personality = type, no more no less) are now inherently useful. Therefore, the most useless type is the type of anyone who has not yet provided me with the aforementioned mild amusement and will not do in the future.

EDIT: And now I'm beginning to think that in reality, it is the SEI which is the most useless type. Obviously creative Fe does fuck all; it serves nothing. But I think there could well be some value in Ni base. Si base is truly useless.
I think if anything it's more likely that you'd find certain people with your super id functions in their super ego block useless.
I've seriously considered E6, and it's one of the least likely types for me. I'm sorry if you think only a 6 would have a problem with my super authoritarian mother's strictness. As for this thread, I knew I was being unfair and bitching about something I didn't really have a good reason to bitch about, and I knew I would probably feel like an ass later if I said something about this person while drunk, so I avoided giving specifics about the person I found useless.I suggest you should think of being E6.

I've just noticed that no one voted for SLE. Because they can't. It's not an option. Instead, there are two LSEs. One which one person has voted for, the other which no one has voted for. If I was an LSE, I'd like to be the LSE that no one voted for.

To be perfectly honest, I couldn't even wrap myself around this thread until someone could answer me what makes a type 'useful'. That said, I have trouble seeing how any contributions I've made have been particularly helpful. Some people I know have told me that I am, but can you ever really quantify that really? Probably, no.

Yeah, on my own, I tend to think of myself as fairly useless. However, I can accomplish things if I know how to do them.
About the usefulness of IEI's - they're excellent for keeping SLE's entertained and occupied and mollified... thus taking the pressure off of me to do so. So, even if only for that, they are a necessary part of the socion to me.
