Default Videos and Scenes of Gamma Quadra

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=iHyJldOrNJI

    From Scarface.

Now, I am not saying that Al Pacino's character, either in the clip or the whole movie, is LIE or even Gamma.

What I am saying is that the underlying themes of the clip - especially taken into account the context of the movie as to his relationship with Michelle Pfeiffer, and of his sister and his friend - are Gamma, and could be seen as the issues related to LIE in a "fulfilled HA ego-trip".

My personal speculative interpretation is that the movie and the character, as a whole, are Beta (as per the IEI Oliver Stone's script), but the montage of the clip shows the hand of the director, Brian de Palma, who takes such Gamma themes for granted.

That's precisely the bit that's not very Gamma, culminating in the scene with the tiger.

But apart from that, the point is that most of the people there were his wife (Michelle Pfeiffer), and his sister, his best friend, and other close ones.

Castillo is one bad ass INTp character:
...the human race will disappear. Other races will appear and disappear in turn. The sky will become icy and void, pierced by the feeble light of half-dead stars. Which will also disappear. Everything will disappear. And what human beings do is just as free of sense as the free motion of elementary particles. Good, evil, morality, feelings? Pure 'Victorian fictions'.

The way it seemed to be something of a time line highlighting success and relationships was the part that seemed Gamma to me. The way they walked around in a group like that and the way they carried themselves seemed more Beta (as did the showing off). It was like a Gamma went through and highlighted what he saw as the significant things about a Beta movie.

Do you identify with this, what's in the clip?
Oh, to find you in dreams - mixing prior, analog, and never-beens... facts slip and turn and change with little lucidity. except the strong, permeating reality of emotion.

I identify with the underlying themes, not with how they are precisely manifested. I would also get "drunk" with exhilaration if thinking that my super-id functions are suddenly being very fulfilled, and probably behave like a bit of a jerk, but not in the specifics of throwing money, especially in silly things like the tiger (also because I have a problem with keeping wild animals in a zoo or the like).

I identify more with the present (as I see it) super-id behavior of Nicolas Sarkozy, which is why I think he's LIE and why I find it embarrassing to watch.

If not already in that tiny clique, I could see how it would be easy for others to hate such people.

Why would they so easily hate them?

You might be familiar with this movie. Well this is by far my favorite track, simply because of the dynamics, instrumentation, how everything is located accordingly. Other tracks have this melody, but this performance, although short, is very touching. It certainly takes a certain mindset to grasp what I'm talking about, as does everything.

Also, more Joe Hisaishi. This piece specifically picks up in a more playful and energetic theme at about 2:00, and has exciting counterpoint.

I think it is a rather good video.
It's easy enough to be pleasant
when life hums along like a song
    But the man worthwhile
is the man who can smile
    when everything goes dead wrong.
