Okay, the distinction in my reaction between my 'extinguishment" and "supervisee" is this:
extinguishment: confused ("why is he doing this now/here?), embarassed, and slightly disgusted
supervisee: hurt ("why does he need this? and why does he not value what I'm giving him?" -i.e. my leading, his POLR)

actually, okay. my comments above were with regards to someone with whom i'm in a relationship.
this is different to someone (usually of the same sex) to whom I'm comparing myself.
the difference (in terms of socionics) is that in the former, i'd be comparing the person to my dual. in the latter case, i'd be comparing the person to myself.
Jessica's comments make a lot of sense if Chelsea were ESTP because i'm assuming she's be comparing her to herself (since they are both female). The whole "she's manly. uck" reaction is very ISTP because they're hypersensitive to exposing this in public. This is really similar to how i would cringe at the thought of someone thinking of me as "emotional" or "girly," and it really bothers me when females exude this trait and it's considered necessary or valued.

well, yes, but I think there's a (logical) assumption of a subtype of a leading function in most socionic discussions.
And ENFJ-Ni's wouldn't cause my reaction to differ, just the frequency of it..

Actually, in Chelsea's interview, the part that struck me the most was where Chelsea got sort of uncomfortable when she realized that her show was in the same time slot as Dave's.
I think her response- jokingly relinquishing the slot to Dave- was indicative of Fe-valuing and the awkwardness indicative of possibly HA position.
I'd be interested in how other types would have responded to this.
I think any Fe weak, unvalued type would have just bluntly promo-d his or her show, maybe joking about it in a more aggressive way...
I probably would have pseudo-apologized for it and smirked...

Both can be very offensive, but ESTps are less likely to focus their humor on individual people's shortcomings, and if they do it's about something stupid they believe (Ti), not something stupid that they do (Te). And in general LIE humor has a greater element of absurdism and non sequitur (Ni).

Letterman is EII-Ne. Her ego Te (plus some Fi) is especially obvious ~4:10.

She’s irrational, Ne blocked with Fi. She’s basically a female Michael Scott. She’s overly judgmental against people, make random insulting (Ne to Te mob) comments against others and then call that as “jokes” as an excuse for her to act like being a mean shithead is somehow so cool and edgy. She has Se role which is bold but used terribly much like mob Te like in her constant quest to being edgy by loudly and annoyingly announcing to the world how she’s so tough and out there and fake makes fun of herself to avoid being shred apart. It’s very typical of IEEs to use Ne lead to mob Te by being randomly critical of others because they perceive any and all threats whether there’s actual evidence of it or not. Se lead does NOT act random and messy like her at all. To be Se lead, you don’t invite the world to hate your ass for saying stupid things. SLE is PoLR Fi and AVOID making any judgments of personal nature. Chelsea is Ti PoLR and doesn’t ever check and verify information that comes across her but evaluate it based upon how it personally resonates back to her. SLE have 3D valued Ti, are informative when it comes to observations but also check and verify their information to make sure it’s real or not. That’s a big part of Ti and she doesn’t have it.
