Post your Photography/Art

Yes, it's that time again... Mainly because I'm sitting here doing laundry with nothing else to do at this point in the day.

For those who have taken some good photos or just some cool pictures to show us, here's a good place to do it. I changed it up a bit and added art to the topic since I'm interested in seeing some of the Art that some of you may have and would like to share, since I remember there being a good amount of people here into Art.

I'll start off by posting a few pics I took last night when I drove down to Portland about 11pm last night to get some photos of the city at night. Again, I still kinda suck at taking night photos but I got a few decent ones worth posting up.







This one was taken while waiting on a train to pass... I kept my eyes open for people since it was about midnight in a not-so-good part of town...lol Obviously, I haven't been the only one sitting at this train crossing for a long amount of time...lol





A pic of the Rose Garden here in Portland from one of our 7 bridges in the city.




Another photo from on the bridge that came out alright. I took soooooooooo many pics last night but these were the only ones that I think really came out worth a crap...lol, so I definitely need to get some practice in with the night photos.







Now, your turn to post some stuff up... I get tired at looking at my own pics and actually enjoy seeing other's work whether that be just pics or a new work of art you've finished.

I once asked someone here to give me an idea of something to take a pic of... they said Horses. So here's the couple that I took that day... though neither is as good a photo as I'd like... it's the fact that I actually took them that i'm happy with...lmao.



I was pretty far away for this one since I'm not one to venture onto another person's land without permission...lol Being from a small town and all... I know people get shot at for stuff like that.

The song was written and sung by my friend, and another friend and I came up with extra parts for it (ukulele, keyboard, percussion). We don't have that much equipment, and the performances (especially those by me - bass and percussion) are a bit sloppy, but I'm fairly proud of my amateur production

and the end bit is a bit crap, we hadn't really decided what exactly to do there

I really like the second picture.

It reminds me of pure Ego or what the Mind is. It's in abstract concepts. Structure. The mind is just a structure, it just builds and categorizes everything in a certain way but in all reality none of it is real, you don't really see something like that in 'mother nature' or whatever you know, it's just what the mind is designed as. But then again, at the same time you can't prove it wrong. Just like you can't prove any negative wrong. So, it's real too! So it's interesting.
