Hm. I've really liked the cool-headed, intelligent types with that certain air in movies/comics. Maybe that's why.
ISTps are the latest trend now... However, the type that is portrayed in this thread is only a certain type, and might be in most of forum. For example, I know of some that are not into fixing cars, getting their hands dirty for that matter, and are "healthy." I'm not liking how types are classified with Socionics... Maybe it's just me exagerating.
It's up to the individual, of course. Though I've noticed that even if these weren't the sort of tasks an ISTp would be interested in, they're probably the kind they would be talented in. My roommate is extremely handy in picking up these kind of things. His knowledge of cars is kind of spotty, but he knows hella lot about fixing up boats, fishing, and rocking out on de geetar. His hands are his tools, no matter what end they are devoted to.
Oddly enough, he graduated with a degree in psychology. Although at this point he's kind of lost in what to do with it.

If that is a trait of ISTps, then I know why they're my dual. Holy lordy. My #1 requirement is the willingness to get up and go on crazy adventures. I love initiating but I'm not so good at convincing, so it really helps.

Seriously, I 'm always up for doing random adventurous crazy shit and I constantly look for people who share this spirit and do not restrain themselves from indulging into fun activities.
