His descriptions are indeed implying qualities of a Caregiver, but how do you differentiate whether it is describing an ESXj, or ISXp?

Nevertheless, he seems EP>IJ to me.

Typical ENXp photos (LOL) and too attention-loving to be an INXJ:

I had considered ENFp for his type, but I chose ENTp eventually back then since his photos (and videos) seem to convey a Fe HA. To a certain extent, ENFps are more subdued in portraying themselves to the public and have less exaggerated facial expressions as compared to ENTps.

Hmmm, his movies seem more Delta-oriented.

I dunno. Faye Wong. From how she responds to the media, I would agree with weak Fe too.

I think she's a lot more expressive in her Asian interviews, her American interviews she is not very Fe at all.
Umm. I meant her reactions to the Asian media. I'm not American, never watched any of her "American interviews".

Of course I might be wrong.

One thing about Faye Wong, from my POV, she does not appreciate Fe.
I remember when she had to act in this Jap drama, she complained that they made her "act cute" and she said that it irritated her and that it was unnatural, and she found it stupid, something like that. And she often says things that does not consider the Fe mood.

I'm not sure not liking unnatural mood is Fe. I wouldn't expect anyone to like a fake mood.

Fe is also not always about positive emotion...
Huh?? What is not what I meant at all! I'm not saying Fe types like fake moods or w/e you said.
I just feel that if she's ISFp or any other ethical type, it'll be easier to get into that kinda act. Even easier if you're Fe quadra IME, more so the ethical types.
And I feel that way because of experiences. I for one couldn't "act cute" like how the Japanese and Taiwanese do on their shows.

    ^ @ Sol

Just curious, but... are these VI-determined or more behavioral(/personality-ish)?

Some I completely agree with; some a little less so.

From your list, though, it's kinda like "Asian = Irrational." (At least 26 to 2, or summat.)

(I fear this'll come off rude, but I really don't mean that at all.)

"VI" is term copyrighted by Ganin, some part of his method is phisiognomy (forms of body parts, etc) wich I do not use. I use what is known as "image method" in most cases for typing famouses, and rarely read journalist interviews. I analyse nonverbal behavior, intuitively by most part (impressions from it).

Some I completely agree with; some a little less so.
In general, match of versions of types from different typers is less than 30% (when they do not know versions of others befor typing).

From your list, though, it's kinda like "Asian = Irrational"
I saw a few Asians (personally and often only one, wich was SLI), and that is why it is more difficult for me to ident their type. If I have sure version of one, it is more easy for me to ident other with the same type. By chance, most of such sure versions become irrationals, but if I saw them as often as europeans, there should not be such overbalance in my list.

More likely Sami-people, and they aren't asians. They sometimes have eyes like that. There was also a girl on my class at school who had similar eyes like asians. Also look at the eyes of Renee Zellweger, shes half-Sami.

Hi, I find this thread really interesting! Kudos to the original poster who created the thread

I'm not very familiar with socionics as compared to MBTI, I think that the only difference is that for IXXX types the last letter is interchanged when comparing both typing systems?

Anyway, I've been wondering about this popular celeb in Singapore- George Young, who's half chinese half greek. He appears very charismatic in all his interviews, possibly a Fe? It's too bad I'm not sure how to post pictures as he is very good-looking.

Would really appreciate it if anyone can take the time to watch the videos and discuss any possible typings. I'm leaning towards MBTI ENFJ, ENTP or ENTJ (top 3 likely preferences). Which would convert to ENFj, ENTp or ENTj if I'm correct.

    Here are the videos:

    Hotseat interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KilxoxgoeE

    M for magic video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRbEFN_QLBw

Thank you in advance for any responses!

Socionics uses Jung's preferences like MBT and types specified by preferences are hence the same. MBT just controverts to Jung's functional model of introverted types and is wrong. Luckily MBT in practice relys primarily on preferences but not on its wrong functional models.

    George Young - ENFP, probably

Will do! I just finished The Great Queen Seondeok. Excellent. Just so well done.
Between that, Faith, Moon Embracing the Sun, and Jewel in the Palace, I'm learning a lot of korean/far east history!! In the middle of the Great Seer now too, waiting for more episodes to come out..

In The Great Queen Seondeok, I was totally enamored with Yusin...

I need to take a break from k-dramas for a bit, as nothing else seems quite as good right now.

I had recently started watching "The Great Seer". Great series. Apart from that, I did not catch any other k-dramas these days.

Anyway, I am currently watching this Korean reality series "We Got Married" (Global Edition) in which two celebrities (one Korean and the other a non-Korean) were been paired up in a fake marriage. It basically shows how the two of them interact together in their make-believe married life.

I am generally not really into that series, but there is one couple who caught my interest to follow it for the last few episodes:

    Taecyeon: ESTj
Emma Wu (a.k.a. Gui Gui): ISFp

Oh and yeah i enjoyed The Great Seer a lot too!
You gotta see Brain though. Put that on your list of must-sees...
I also recently enjoyed Horse Doctor--I think the main character is LSE (and the girl is EII maybe? Same actress as the Great Queen Seondeok, another spectacular drama!)

p.s. so I take it u agree with my typing of Shin Ha Kyun?

Ok guysssss, more people have got to get on the Korean wave here... I have some typings to discuss!!

Watching "All About My Romance" now. Not as good as "Brain" but cute, very cute. I'm totally in love with Shin Ha Kyun (though he's not that cute actually). I still type him SLI.

-- Shin Ha Kyun -- SLI?

-- Lee Min Jung -- not sure (maybe ILI?)

    -- Han_Chae-Ah -- IEE maybe?

-- Park Hee Soon -- not sure but would love to know (i know someone with a similar "look")

-- Kong Hyung Jin -- not sure, infantile of some sort

-- Kim Jung Nan -- SEE?
