Does anyone have an idea as to Nader's type?

Did some quick net.research, think I can say with some confidence that Nader "projects" himself mainly as an INFj.

Politicians often cultivate a "public image" that may be very different from the real person, though. I may well have been taken in by that, but here is my take anyway:

To me, he mainly comes across as an idealist (NF). Also, with an introverted 1st function. That leaves either INFj or INFp.

In video interviews, he seems to express Ne a lot. Also, it seems he clearly prefers Fi as a main function.

So my guess would be INFj.

I think this is one of the biggest misconceptions in Socionics. It's not just a misconception of course, it's the direct result of a lot of stuff written in Socionics that says that Si = concern for health. I'm very concerned about health, and I think it's unlikely that I'm Si.

I know Socionics doesn't need to be a carbon copy of what Jung said, but this Si = concern for health really gets so far away from anything resembling Jung's typology that it really needs to be questioned, and I think, ultimately discarded.

A lot of N types care about public health issues; the idea that caring about such issues makes one an Si type just doesn't make sense.

By the way, from that video, whatever type he is, it's obvious that he's brilliant and right on the mark regarding just about everything he says.

But I agree that it was a big mistake for him to run in 2000. Maybe his ego got the better of him or something.
