With that said, I think that the elephant in the room is the very fact that the melting of glaciers release ancient viruses and bacterias that could potentially provoque new pandemics. In fact I heard just earlier today that most viruses are now coming from the melting of glaciers and the permafrost. Asia is now in the second position I guess .
