This song is not particularly "delta", maybe, but I find it relaxing and nice

One of my favorite japanese club/lounge artists, Jazztronik: (I think you might like some of his music)

And since you like Nujabes, have a listen to this:

Yeah, the last one of those is my favorite. Thanks.

This next song, I'm not sure what it's title is. It seems to be a classical song from Asia? I don't really know, perhaps someone can tell me. I think it is called "A Town With An Ocean View" / "風のとおり道" - not sure if those are the right characters though. Babelfish says those characters mean "a sort of wind road" (?)

PS: Seems like "Path of the Wind" may be the title.

    The World Exploded Into Love

Bob Schneider - The World Exploded Into Love

There is a universe that can't be seen
It's just a feeling if you know what I mean
A delectable dimension undetectable by sight
It'll fill up your heart in the dead of the night
Some say its an astral plane
Can't be described can't be explained

The world exploded into love all around me
The world exploded into love all around me
And everytime I take a look around me
    I have to smile

Oh is our life just an illusion
There is no need to figure it out
The separation exists not in your love filled heart
    But only in your mind
The real story's all around you
    Even now it surrounds you
Even now I feel the power

The world exploded into love all around me
The world exploded into love all around me
And everytime I take a look around me
    I have to smile

I don't think this song is in some way delta or any other quadra but I think it is one of the most beautiful songs ever made . Hope you like it.

I much like "Royal Hunt" (1993-2005), - lyrical and energizing, at the same time, music. Style: melodic power metal.

clips maybe bad, just listen the music

    The Script - Breakeven

(embedding is disabled for this vid)

    Here's one that works here:

This isn't particularly Delta, but I do think that it has a lot of stuff. Awesome song. I can definitely see this happening with Delta STs. Once they break up it's like, "ok, bye" and that's it. This is one reason why I try not to get too close to them :/.

That's how it has to be in order to move on. If it is really decided that it's over, then that's how it goes, there's no need to pussyfoot around.

However...This overlooks the process that happens before that, which is very difficult to go through -- trying to figure out whether or not to break things off. If they have real value to the person (I'll speak for myself), then it's very difficult to get to that point. Losing people who are very close to me is very difficult; but losing/dropping people who were never close to me is not difficult (I know things change, I know it very well). However, I'm looking for stable relationships, ultimately. All of the real relationships I've been in took me a while to get over, it was certainly not "ok bye" - but after I realize that it really was over, then that's the attitude I took. It doesn't mean that the feelings were gone, but it's a very mechanical way of dealing with the fact that I had to remove those feelings, as they were no longer applicable.

This is one reason why I try not to get too close to them :/.
Make sure they are healthy and mature, and you won't be so disappointed. If you fool around with people who are neither, then you're more likely to get poor results. That's a little more salient ime than someone's 'type'

You're right. What I was getting at with what I wrote is how alienated an XF/XT relation can be for the "feeler" at times (lame term btw). Since we're in delta, I'll stick with delta NFs and STs. The "cold" logic that STs can sometimes apply to a relationship is like being sucker punched in the stomach for an NF. What I meant with the "ok bye" thing is that sometimes I wonder if said person actually cared. It's hard to break the bond, and the process is more painful when the other person is just fine and dandy about it. In their attempts at being a badass person that is "strong" and all that, STs can potentially end up making the NF feel like shit. I saw this happen with an IEE friend of mine and her bf. We just don't like to use logic when it comes to interpersonal things... I had a friend tell me for example that "I did the checks and balances, and decided that I want to keep you as a friend." I mean, cmon... are you serious? That's the last thing I want to hear. I went a little off topic, but I think you know what I mean.

    Yeah, I understand.
It's good for self preservation I suppose, but, it is also very scary sometimes how much I am unaware of my impact on other people, especially relationally or in terms of feelings. It isn't hard to get into a very cold state, especially if there are pertinent reasons for me to be focusing on something other than someone's feelings. And I can see how that could be very damaging.

It's one of the things that can lead to the feeling of "maybe I don't really deserve to be in a relationship with someone" kind of deals. I think SLIs are a bit more so to that end, but, it is something I've 'felt' myself.

by the way: You can test people to see how they react when you point out that damage has been caused. If they say they don't care, then they probably aren't really suitable for a relationship. If they don't react first, but come around to it, then they really do care about things. Sometimes there is a simple unawareness or disbelief that what happened causes so much damage.

Wait, are we even supposed to be listening to music? The only "music" we should be listening to is the sound of two knitting needles gently striking each other, and the ever so stimulating bass sound of the yarn rubbing against them. Of course, we couldn't leave out the enticing activity of chopping firewood for the cabin, with it's whimsical and harmonious beats, made all the more enjoyable thinking of the wife and 5 kids we are caring for. Any other activities would be too stimulating for our Delta comfort levels. Do you guys know anything about Socionics?

Yeah, but the other Quads were doing it, so I supposed that we should too. Hey we like music, just maybe not karaoke.

Any other activities would be too stimulating for our Delta comfort levels. Do you guys know anything about Socionics?

But I have to say that no matter how Delta I think I am, when it comes to music I'm in love with IEI genius musicians. If it's intense, out there, emotional, edgy, spacey, Ni Fe I love it. For some reason I like my music to have all Beta elements except for maybe Ti. To me, that's the best music.

I can't even come up with Delta music to contribute to this thread, although I'm sure it exists.

BTW, Spanish deltas tend to reject US/UK music and stick to Spanish music. Alphas, betas and gammas prefer the former.

It might be that you are "sensitive" to Fe, in that it has the ability to stir emotions inside you. Music is not just a beat and something that makes you dance, but something that is able to affect your emotional state... While I tend to avoid and have the desire to sometimes suppress what I see as excessive Fe expression in my environment, it does get to me and affects me internally (maybe that's why I do it in the first place). It wouldn't surprise me that people from the idealist club (IEI,EIE,EII,IEE) respond in similar ways to music that conveys some kind of common NF message or feeling. I think that people get so caught up in the quadra mentality and sucking up to their other members, that they forget about other dimensions of compatibility (not talking about love here though) that occur between clubs. If you reorder the subdivisions in this forum to clubs or temperament instead of quadras, I bet that the dynamic in this forum would be different.

I don't understand how a song could be considered 'beta' or 'delta' or whatever. It doesn't make sense to me.

a song about "crushing those who think different" might be beta

a song about "helping others" might be delta

    Ok, this is Beta:

Finding a Delta song seems harder for me.

Oh. I don't analyze music that much....whatever. So basically we're just perpetuating type stereotypes? Cool.

Well, Cyrano is the mastermind behind this thread, so I'm not sure he might have wanted something like that.

I agree w/ this! Why must our Delta music be kind of boring?

Then again, I remember reading somewhere that my "concrete art" was Fe. I've found that to be true, since when I do paintings they are quite Fe-ish and Betas tend to love them (even ISTjs were like commenting on my paintings on facebook saying there was something "amazing" about them, etc). This makes me wonder if Betas make music, maybe it becomes more Fi-ish or something. I lost the link where it said what kind of art you make.
