Based on the descriptions on Wikipedia you're a 6: Loyalist (can't survive away from the herd), Coward, Believer, Vulnerable when isolated, crave for Safety, Suspicious (paranoid, grumpy), Fearful, Courage (perhaps with some redneck backup).

i'm pretty much settled on 9 now, i think. the only other type i'd be willing to consider is 4. you're free to find negative traits corresponding with the descriptions of those types if you're still feeling rowdy. or to at the very least explain how i demonstrate those things instead of just listing them.

after a long time of stirring it around, i'm about as sure i'll probably ever be that i'm a 9. but i self-typed as a 6 for a couple of years, with learning my sociotype being one of the factors that led to the switch. that and the fact that a few people here have thrown out 6 for me makes me curious. if anyone would be willing to point out what they see in my posts or whatever that makes me seem like a 6 with the knowledge that i'm still very unlikely to change my mind, i'd appreciate it, lol.

To put it simply, you seem more outspoken and willing to rub against the grain than I'd think an e9 would. Not that e9s can't be opinionated, but they often take a neutral and understanding stance to most perspectives. You seem steadfast in holding your ground. I'm just making an interpretation from a small number of your posts that stuck out to me and it may not reflect how you really are though, so yeah.
I think you're type 6 more or less out of process of elimination. I would say that 1w9 is equally possible, but I do think that 9 has a more prominent place than just a wing, and calling you a type 1 seems extreme. More likely you have a 9w1 gut fix. I suppose it may just be the w1 that I'm seeing to go along with your main e9 type.
well part of it i think is just how its easier for people to be outspoken on the internet lol. but yeah i dont have any problem at all standing my ground, and i can be pretty stubborn, when i feel it solidly beneath my feet and i feel justified. the thing is i often dont have that kind of certainty because i can get lost in the different perspectives and stuff (the recent thing here with the thread to purchase subt's share brought that lost feeling out pretty good and reminded me of my 9ness a lot heh.) i think that when i am certain and come off outspoken it probably is just more noticeable. and i look for the solidity where i can - the feeling of floating around the different shades of things can feel like a stifling trap for me, even though i do it to myself for self-protection. but it comes with the ability to be open minded i guess.
maybe my 1 wing is stronger than i thought though.

Well I did explain a bit, I admit my "e-typing" is based only on those keywords and how I perceive you, I didn't analyze. I don't think those traits are necessarily negative, just I don't like them (ie I have no problem with 5 apart from avarice), I interpreted that "safety" through this social dependence in the big picture, otherwise I'm interested in safety too and I'm not that courageous myself either.
