I think it's hard to do that though when you know enough. No matter how hard you try not to let your preconceptions or understanding get in there it does, even if you don't notice it.

    EXTj
or ESTj depending on how I answered the second to last question.
Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.
If you're in this forum to learn something, be careful. Lots of misplaced toxicity.

~an extraverted consciousness is unable to believe in invisible forces.
~a certain mysterious power that may prove terribly fascinating to the extraverted man, for it touches his unconscious.

I agree. It's like trying not to read something that's written in a language you understand. I mean, you can't.

That is why I prefer "tests" based on hypothetical situations where you should be able to say what you'd really do even if you do see where the test is coming from.

I'm starting to think that I just *am* an INFp.
That is my guess too, based on the posts I have seen from you so far.

I couldn't answer most of the questions because they're absolutely pathetic and meaningless, but somehow I managed to get ExTp.

yeah, it's very hard to do. what i do is just pretend like i'm not about to post the results to the forum. somehow that helps? 2nd time i did the test -- i scored INFj as well.

This test is too much based on strict definitions. This test is nearly 100% reliable if the test-taker knows socionics well.

First the test determines the temperament, therefore the cognitive attitudes.

It is true that EJ types resemble each other, or IJ types resemble each other. Although there are slight temperament differences between Process EJ and Result EJ (for example). Process IJ (EII and LSI) is more methodical, perfectionistic. Result IJ (LII and ESI) is more reacting, leading, preventing initiative.

One day I said to an EII girl that believed that she was an active, mobile (extrotim) type, that she was rather non-active, inert (introtim), because :

    1. She was the "number #2" of her team. It was clear that her leading style was IJ-like. Preventing initiative.

    2. One day at a reunion she had to give a short talk on a subject I don't remember. She read a part, and she was asked questions. Then the reunion turned to a global discussion. It took something like 30 minutes to resume her short talk. I said to her that she was shy and lacking initiative (for joking).

    3. According to Gulenko, IF and ET types have average social skills, whereas IT have low and EF have high.

    4. That girl is always saying "thank you" to strangers even for minor things... at least when those minor things are agreeable to her... You know how women are like...

It's difficult to test EIJP things by giving definitions in questions. It can lead to mistyping.

This is really interesting. I've got ENXp.

I'm pretty sure that I'm ENFp, but my friends see me more Logical and I has intimacy problems when I was more younger.

Go ahead , the great power!

1st result: IXFp. After various tweaking, I was also able to easily score: IXTp, then IXXp, then ISFp.

A few mystery questions to solidify more N/S and F/T characteristics might help.

I have a headache and feel like trash right now, and that helped me not analyze what the questions imply; rather, just take the test in a very simple-minded way.

Maybe a good testing prerequisite can be to get hit on the head with a piece of plywood. That way we might approach these tests more simplistically and answer more instinctively.
