My Japanese has gotten extremely rusty over these last few years so it's very hard for me to say. Here's someone's english translation, but it seems somewhat lacking. Though to be honest, I liked this song on first hearing it, without even understanding what was being said. That might sound silly, but there seemed like there was a sincerity to it all, which, if this translation is very accurate, makes me feel somewhat foolish. At least in the sense that I always thought something very special was being said, and the words don't quite stack up to what I expected. In the end though, I kind of decided to treasure the journey that the song took me on, regardless (Utada Hikaru has a couple other songs I felt similarly about). Anyway, here's what some website had it translated as:

Well, I thought what you put up sounded nice, too, even if it doesn't mean everything we think it should.
