My Dying Angel
The dying wave hugs the shore,
and I wished I did the same,
(he wishes he was hugging her or the shore)
as
I watch her fade away,
in the dark mesmeric sway.
I lay my heart unto the floor,
and
watch it as it shatters once more,
for angels die as she does today,
What could i possibly say?
And
there she lays,
sweet and silent,
she ripples through the day.
Even though
i watch her drown, (yes, it's metaphorical..but still seems in an Si way to me)
I could never speak and say.
Perhaps you never knew,
Fondly I watched you each day...
I remember each time you laughed,
and every word you said.
The way you gently blush,
when beauty came your way.
I remember your broken heart,
and the little pranks you play.
But most of all i remember,
I never got to say...
That perhaps in the your search for love,
its me who loves you,
in every way.
