A lot of quality brands from Japan..
umm if that's what you're asking.
I also go slim cut.
Why the fuck am I in the Beta section anyways? :X
go to message boards here.. get some ideas on where the good denim is at

Who wears jeans these days?

Some of the brands are pretty expensive (200+) and I wouldnt recommend that either. You can get quality denim at 100+ (like samurai... but those may be too "traditional"/classic for what you're looking for? not flashy. they're made like old high quality levis.. expensive because they'll last you).
edit: heh actually my prices are off. some of those you'll be pay a premium for too.

I love jeans. I wear them almost every day in the fall/winter months.

i guess you can start looking for someone in france to help you out.
i don't wear anything that baggy.. umm.. but you might find something affordable in popular mercs like karmaloop (just a guess.. i haven't looked through that entire list. but some of the cuts are similar)
jeans, what can you do? I think a slim straight fit is probably the best choice for men as anything else is going to fall out of fashion, but that look will always look good, also I think lots of fading/washing on the jeans looks hella tacky. whatevs though, just jeans.

i like mid rise fitted bootcut myself. to me they are easy to find at the gap since they always have some cool cut coming out. their jeans always fit me right. and a dark wash. don't really care for bleached or faded medium blue.
i don't like ones that are too low rise....my thong revealing days are over plus muffin top looks reeeaallly bad on everyone. skinny jeans are too confining for me but they look good on teenagers.
i love jeans would hardly wear anything else on the weekend.
but i usually have to change clothes at least twice a day. whatever you are wearing it gets uncomfortable and i have to change up. no matter what the day. the best is naked in the sheets at night...how freeing is that.

lol seriously. blaze you sometimes remind me of an SLE. I like skinny jeans okay. I can't stand jeans that bag at the butt. There is nothing worse. So you gotta watch the fit. I have a pair from the Gap that are pretty good--they're that stretch denim, low rise skinny. They look nice right out of the wash and they don't stretch out of shape either. My next faves are Lucky Brand bootcut that I got at Marshalls. They just make my butt look good, lol! I probably should try some of the better-brand jeans but I have a hard time spending over $100 on jeans. It really makes me cringe. But I once saw this SEI woman at a party wearing these really expensive jeans (I can't remember the brand right now but I know they were pricey) and WOW did they look great. *sigh* So I guess you get what you pay for, to some extent.

Without a doubt, BCBG is my favorite brand for jeans but they run about $150 so I only get about a pair a year haha...the only other brand I tend to wear is calvin klein as they're the only jean brand that doesn't stretch out or sag in the butt.
no haha, just thought i'd try something different. It doesn't look bad, actually.
My dual cousin ownes a pair and has for the last 5 years, that still looks brand new, I can't tell you how often she's worn them. Anyway, I wear my clothing for a long time too, but jeans are a struggle because of the fit. I have had seven for mankind jeans, they have been the best fitting so far. Get citizen if you have curvey figure; get 7's if you have a boyish figure; ESFj's should go for skinny, they look awsome on my cuz. Who cares what on earth you wear anyway; as long as you are healthy and feel good, that's all that matters.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE
