Hi everyone,
I thought it was about time I introduced myself outside of Delta. So yes I'm Moredhel...I also go by Sam *waves*.
I'm an LSE, -Si subtype if you care about that, ENTJ also using JCF definitions, 9w1 so/sx/sp in Enneagram.
Anyway hi

Anyway hi
An LSE 9 is an interesting combination. Want to talk about that?

Hi. 9 is weird for an LSE or any EJ really. 9s are supposed to be passive and I feel like that is the opposite of most EJs. I don't really put much stock in enneagram anyway.

He's not as uptight or idealistic as most E1s.
Moredhel is very much a peacekeeper.
Haha fair enough, I actually don't get along too badly with IEI's nothing too deep but not bad...EIE's however...Super-Ego relationship with 2 extroverts
Well I type LSE initially as I'm a definite Delta Caregiver and Logic > Ethics and pretty much every other reason that would place me as a delta ST. I Type LSE > SLI because I don't really relate strongly to Si as a leading function, Te however is a perfect fit + I have a definite EJ temperament. That's just how I decided the type, since learning all the information elements I now relate to every function in it's position, I have no doubts.
I've also found since deciding on LSE all the relationships that didn't seem quite right when I considered SLI now are pretty spot on.
That's the short version anyway.
Thanks, yeah I don't place a huge amount of stock in enneagram but the test results were ridiculously high for 9. Re-reading the 9 description I can see why it's so uncommon, it's defiantly geared more towards EII's but strangely it still fits . If I ever get around to it I'll read the others and self type but Hemo know a lot more about it than me and she happy with me as a 9.
Howdy. Welcome to the 16 and enjoy your stay. I think I commented on it before but that's a cool hat.
Also, what a coincidence! My name's also Sam! We're like totally bros, bro.

Oh yeah, and don't forget to complain about the new chatbox. That's en vogue right now.

Oh silly me, I must of quoted the wrong person.
What do you have against the new chatbox ? It is crappy as hell but it still works. Anyhow, this thread is about moredhel exclusively. Also, what do you have against Marista? She's a really chill and relaxing presence on here IMO.
It's the catbox, not chatbox. I will personally send moderator tactical nukes at anyone who says otherwise.

Fair enough, SLI was the first type I landed on thanks to Hemo there, but that was back when we were confusing introversion with being a delta (or any serious type). Before I really learned my way around socionics I was happy enough with it but the temperament and the leading function never quite clicked with me. It only took one look at LSE to realise that was a perfect fit and the more I learn the more sure I get.
lol err yes I've already had interesting experiences with Marista, but no need for name calling.
Haha the chatbox does seem lacking and under utilized I presume the older one was better?
Thanks for the hat comment I think I may of lent that to a friend and never got it back
Cool name btw
I can easily see 9 on the Enneagram for an LSE, especially an Si-LSE; I played music with one (come to think of it, he may have been a Te-LSE; tough call, but definitely LSE), and if it wasn't for him being a 1 to the extent of being a 1w9 as opposed to a 9w1, he would have been a 9. My neighbor, though... definite Si-LSE, definite 9w1! My Si-LSE friend is 8w9 I think, or 9w8, one or the other...
I beat the living shit out of this fictional LSE example but here goes - Hank from King of the Hill? I could accept 9w1 for him, though I think 1w9 could be more fitting...
Anyways, welcome aboard!

Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?
I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

What do these signs mean—, , etc.? Why cannot socionists use symbols Ne, Ni etc. as in MBTI? Just because they have somewhat different meaning. Socionics and MBTI, each in its own way, have slightly modified the original Jung's description of his 8 psychological types. For this reason, (Ne) is not exactly the same as Ne in MBTI.
Just one example: in MBTI, Se (extraverted sensing) is associated with life pleasures, excitement etc. By contrast, the socionic function (extraverted sensing) is first and foremost associated with control and expansion of personal space (which sometimes can manifest in excessive aagression, but often also manifests in a capability of managing lots of people and things).
For this reason, we consider comparison between MBTI types and socionic types by functions to be rather useless than useful.

1. Do you plan things and work out their details before you proceed at a task?
2. Do you suggest others help you relax or do you relax when others are still working?
3. Why do you consider detail orientation to be strictly a Ti trait?
4. In real life, are you tense and rushed?
