Default Where can I find informaiton on fields/objects static/dynamic, etc.

I want to find the core of the definitions of the functions, and information that explains what is meant by a field and an object, and so on and so forth. Where are the best links to this kind of information?

Most of what I know I've figured out on my own based on the limited information available on Rick's site and by trying to explain it in conversations with others.

Yeah. Rick's site is down at the moment. However, I actually made this thread and my inquiry before I found that out.

That stuff is explained in some of Augusta's original papers. Rick had good translations of them in his website. There are also Russian versions available online. You can find links in the entry on her in the Wiki, for instance.

Cheers for the link. I've seen this page hundreds of times, but I never read it properly.

If you really want to understand the background behind the dichotomies, I suggest looking up "field" and "object" on Wikipedia.

Looking at the English meaning of the words we use as Socionics terms almost always causes more confusion than clarity.

You do realize that most English words have more than one definition/connotation, right? And that the theory was written in a different language and then later translated into English?
