ILIs, what is it that SEEs DO for you that help balance your other valuing things? I'm looking for examples here.

Dunno. They think my cynicism (which more sensitive people might take the wrong way, though I try to not to direct sarcasm at individuals, at least those present, because it is rude often times) is absolutely adorable and often tell me they "love me" which does a lot for increasing the Fi bond. They are so animated that I feel I can liven up without feeling awkward about it and I feel encouraged to be a bit silly myself. That, or they just say/do things that are so over the top that I can be driven to hysterics which I then have to control without feeling like an idiot. I dunno, I guess I feel appreciated, more open, more lively, whatever.

so do ilis tend to be sarcastic then? and sees know that nothing is really meant by it when a lot of others don't?

Gah, I've spent bloody ages trying to think up a witty response to this line, but everything I think of is either too drawn out to be funny or too cliché to be funny. I dunno, I guess I'm better at sarcasm on the fly rather than premeditated. So for a serious answer, yes, sarcasm is indeed common in ILIs.

One of my coworkers I've been wondering for a while if she's ILI, and as time has gone on I've become more certain that she is. Today, she sent me a message via Google Talk which we all use at work, which I found absolutely hilarious. I don't normally hear much sarcasm from her, but this was just brilliant. Basically the context was that the directors had delegated some presentations that needed doing to a few different people, with the intention of combining them all. My ILI coworker being one of them. She said to me "it's very helpful to get different people to do the powerpoint and then combine them together as the background colour and the font will be different. :|". Might be one of those things where you had to be there, but I thought it was absolutely hilarious when I read that.

I'm definitely paranoid about lots of things, but I don't know how much that extends to other ILIs. And things don't necessarily need action to resolve; just talking about it can help. Quite often, provided it's from someone with whom I have a good bond, physical contact often helps. When I say physical contact, it can be anything from a pat on the shoulder to a hug. This only works from certain people though; it wouldn't do to have a stranger in the street try and comfort me like that

people can be promiscuious for different reasons...unless, it's a joke and i wasn't there...

personally, i have felt a "flippancy" from you that didn't seem sei. but, that's not really enough to go on for typing purposes...or it could have been because of what you've been through lately...

i don't bring things up to necessarily have you answer them back to me, but more to yourself. if YOU understand why you're promiscuious, that may give you more insight to yourself. which may help you see which type might fit for you better.
