    A further thought...

I'm not sure if this is a me thing, an ISFp thing, or an ISFx thing.

My social role, especially accentuated thanks to the internet, seems to be being that guy who picks up on all these things happening in groups I'm loosely a part of, just by virtue of hanging around a lot.

I think it's an F thing in general.

There is NO WAY you're not an Fe type.
What do these signs mean—, , etc.? Why cannot socionists use symbols Ne, Ni etc. as in MBTI? Just because they have somewhat different meaning. Socionics and MBTI, each in its own way, have slightly modified the original Jung's description of his 8 psychological types. For this reason, (Ne) is not exactly the same as Ne in MBTI.

Just one example: in MBTI, Se (extraverted sensing) is associated with life pleasures, excitement etc. By contrast, the socionic function (extraverted sensing) is first and foremost associated with control and expansion of personal space (which sometimes can manifest in excessive aagression, but often also manifests in a capability of managing lots of people and things).

For this reason, we consider comparison between MBTI types and socionic types by functions to be rather useless than useful.

I have dated one ISFj who had lots of aquaintences even if she was very introverted. Have no idea how that works, but the amount of people she knows is 3-4 times bigger than mine.

for me... = I love to be around my friends and doing things with people. I have difficulty making new friends and being environments where I don't know many people or don't like a lot of people.

A girl I was dating said she was oh so great at sex etc, but she didn't do blowjobs.

Did you guys forget what introvert means or something?

I+SF club just equates to someone who tends to be directly involved with people but is more energy conservative. So, common behavior for them might be someone who has close relationships that occupy a lot of their time, but they probably don't branch out too much, so they might be less outgoing but still quite gregarious.

What does it mean to you? In socionics "introvert" doesn't mean what it usually means in psychology (i.e. the opposite of social, gregarious or whatever). Lots of ethical types have large social circles, but SFs in particular it seems. Gamma SFs are the stereotypical sorority girls, ESIs and SEEs both, maybe even ESI more than SEE.

    I agree with your description.

I generally think of ISFs as the people who are the most "grounded" and down-to-earth.
