I got nothing.
egos, in my experience. That, or maybe they're the most prone to discuss their boredom.
I think all types are the most inclined to feel bored, especially generations nowadays, those with no life. Types of older people seem to easily cope with boredom, partly because they have a life, and partly because they don't believe in Santa Claus.
IMO, rationals never admit being bored because "there is always sth to do", and lazy people (irrationals?) get bored "because they love it".

Was I bored? No, I wasn't fuckin' bored. I'm never bored. That's the trouble with everybody - you're all so bored. You've had nature explained to you and you're bored with it, you've had the living body explained to you and you're bored with it, you've had the universe explained to you and you're bored with it, so now you want cheap thrills and, like, plenty of them, and it doesn't matter how tawdry or vacuous they are as long as it's new as long as it's new as long as it flashes and fuckin' bleeps in forty fuckin' different colors. So whatever else you can say about me, I'm not fuckin' bored.
This topic is boring.
ILE's and IEE's hands down. our lives revolve around escaping boredom. it's a defining feature of leading Ne.

my IEE mom gets bored. she comes up with ideas but then never follows through, can't choose what she wants to do, doesn't have the oomph necessary and seems to enjoy swimming around in her ideas for the most part but then sighs and wishes she could choose something.

I'm often bored. When I'm bored I don't have the ability to come up with things to do, and even if I have some ideas, I think that I don't have the energy. It's like being trapped in boredom. But it might be related to other things than my type.
I relate to the description of a person who is constantly bored.
One could easily argue they find something interesting in everything they encounter.ILE's and IEE's hands down. our lives revolve around escaping boredom. it's a defining feature of leading Ne.
You could argue that ITjs and ISps both lack releasing stimulation, I suppose.
That sounded entirely wrong, but you catch my drift.
EDIT
I'd assume IJs need their Duals to kind of "flush the system out". Maybe someone can give a bit more beef to this comment, but my brain is total sludge right now.
Also, I don't feel constantly bored, but I definitely enjoy the refreshed feeling Ne bases leave me with. Refreshed and... interested? Whatever the opposite of "bored" is.

I'm almost never bored, FWIW.

yes I thought the same. But I think that their minds just flip so quickly from one thing to another and it's hard for them to grab on with staying power so everything winds up looking equally interesting, ergo equally boring. If that makes sense. I dunno. Maybe that's why they need Si to settle them down and choose something and then show them how great it can feel to focus?

I once read that IEEs have a fear of boredom, and that rings true for me. I myself am almost never bored but that's because i always make sure i'm doing something interesting.
Even if i'm sitting in a boring lecture, if i'm not interested in what the person is talking about or if it's delivered in some really tedious boring way, I'll just switch to trying to observe the people in the room, and now that I sort of know socionics, trying to type them! That makes for HOURS of fun!
Of course, i've been in situations where i've been extremely bored. It's AGONY! I try not to let that happen too much by anticipating situations in which i might get bored and providing myself with some form of alternative entertainment. Having a blackberry helps a lot in those situations too.

I tend to view boredom as the feeling of being understimulated, particularly in areas of interest.
Often people might say something like "then go do something you enjoy". (note: I've said the same damned thing too, argh)
But there-in lies the rub: Motivation requires being stimulated into action.
They're basically saying "then go be stimulated to get stimulation"...well duh.
But it still requires a stimulation to go be stimulated to get stimulation...and so on.

Stan is not my real name.
When an ESTj learns to enjoy their many activities with depth they will no longer feel bored, in general, EP's like ENTp's and ENFp's especially have a hard time being bored.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE
