There are much better Certified Alpha™ bands out there, such as Breathe Carolina, BrokeNCYDE, and Angels and Airwaves.

I always wondered, who the hell actually listens to and buys this stuff. I should have known... alphas.

A band for you Alphas is the Beach Boys... Pet Sounds through The Beach Boys Love You. (Not their earlier music so much.)

Brian Wilson = ESE super hero

For some weird Alpha shit, listen to the following Beach Boys songs:

    * Solar System (lol ... wow)

    * Johnny Carson (I can't believe a major band released this !)

have you ever heard pet sounds or smile, Carla..? the beach boys are one of the best bands who ever played. (Those two beach boys songs I posted are insane by the way... Love them.)

BTW, Carla: alpha music = music played by alphas, with alpha themes, (e.g. the Beach Boys... Primus is another Alpha band, less "happy- happy" as you say... Magnetic Fields is all Alpha...) it's not that alphas necessarily like "happy-happy" music -- and I don't think it's a stereotype that they do... it's just, you know, this is the sort of shit alphas put into the world, you know? That's why I posted it, you know... Because it's Alpha.

U2, the band you teabag on these forums constantly is 100% beta--every member of it, you know.

Paul McCartney is the most popular 20th century songwriter = 100% Alpha... Sgt. Pepper's = Alpha. On and on. You guys have some good songs.

This is an actual Alpha Band, also with a HUGE counter-phobic 6 so/sx fixation:

(BTW i dont give a shit if ur alpha and dislike it)

On a cold dark winter night hidden by the stormy light
A battle rages for the right for what will become
In the valley of the damned a warrior with sword in hand
Travels fast across the land for freedom he rides

And the sign from the master on high screams aloud and across hear the cry
For the kingdom of fire and ice and the power to be alive
Be strong ride on, carry on through the war
Come along carry on, living for ever more

On the wings of death by the hands of doom
By the darkest light from the darkest moon
Crossing silent seas over mountains high
For we stand as one tonight

On the black wind forever we ride on together
Destroying your evil with freedom our guide
When the master will storm us
    He'll stand high before us
    Our hearts filled with splendour
Our swords will shine over the light

In the valley of the damned
    Days breaks with golden strand
    Over pastures green it glows
    To where night returns

    In the shadows faces appear
    Warriors wearing full metal gear
All join together one and all
    Before the glorious light

    Rise up, gather around
Come and hear what is said
Use your senses open your mind
    Don't you ever forget

On the wings of life, by the hands of hope
By the brightest light from the brightest sun
Crossing silent seas over mountains high
To the valley of the damned

In fact "power metal" and other more upbeat/epic styles of metal are pretty Alpha.

Here is another famous Alpha band:

One of my favorite bands, I think the song is hitting Fe/Si fo' shizzle.

Neil Peart is Ne INTj imo and their musical journey as a whole is the story of a 5w6 so/sp coming to understand the world and its ways.

Hmm, actually, Yake, Stratovarius seem pretty Beta to me. And they're the dudes who started it all.

Stratovarius started what?! What the hell are you talking about? Power Metal has been made for years before Stratovarius.

He didn't post it because he thougt it was alpha. Most metal is made by betas, lot of punk too. Metal is clearly foremost Se-valuing music.

Ooooooooold wikipedia article. Or I misinterpretated it.

    EDIT

LATE WARNING: The Point was more that they were singing "Let's go childish"... and Alpha quadra is the kindergarten quadra. Hence, Alphaband!

Of alphas that do metal, first I can think of is Messiah Marcolini - ESE

This is for the alphas that don't like metal:

I love you, you love me. Barney gave me HIV...

    old Anthrax maybe?

idk probably not, I just wanted to hear I'm The Man again . But there was a different thing going on with Anthrax back in the day. they were pretty goofy, and most of the people I knew who were really into them were alphas.

Anthrax is probably one of those delta metal bands. Didn't find very good interviews. Except this one of Scott Ian Rosenfeld, he seems most likely to be SLI.

Scott Ian is a beta introvert... In that interview, it's clear from VI alone... But if you listen to what he says in that interview and read Anthrax lyrics... It's really obvious.

@Warlord: I would never say a whole genre of music is "Se" valuing. I enjoy alot of metal although I particularily enjoy symphonic, power, and recently melo-death metal.

You have to listen to each song/band separately.

Just because a song is about fighting, war, violence, does NOT mean in any way that its Se.

Just throwing it out there. Good song nonetheless.

    Harvest will come
    Your heart will mend
