    Default Any chance I'm LSI?

Yes, really. Now I know many of you think ESE fits fine. But Beta ST fit well too. And I'm tough to type because of personality masking, I think I can come across as several different types. Some people are still typing me SEE or LSE! Every quadra... Anyway. Before I make my argument, here are some more LSI-looking photos of me, when I'm focused/concentrating, or at rest. Not directly interacting with others per say. More my default expression.

And I know, it's annoying to be somewhat unsure again, when I thought I had it figured out. But don't some of these basic descriptions fit?:

Their facial expressions are somewhat unemotional and show great concentration.
I believe the physical description fits me.

I don't wear a mustache because 1) I don't grow much facial hair and 2) blonde mustaches don't look great anyway.

Also fits, and I change direction very quickly.

They often have a large compendium of jokes and anecdotes. Males often use this arsenal to charm females, usually behaving very gallantly, successfully playing role of the gentleman. They are often the life and soul of the party. They enjoy singing with little more than a guitar for accompaniment and often in a romantic style.
This is probably what comes across to others as Fe. When I'm in a good mood, and charming, it can come across ESE-ish.

They are not supporters of unproved ideas or theories and will hesitate in undertaking uncertain projects. They believe that everything should be prepared carefully and accurately.
I very much take my time getting things right, especially paperwork, and can be very meticulous. And I loathe when others are late, and I'm waiting for them.

This. I was always a model student.

Many others on this forum, 16types, have pointed out this tendency of mine. Here's just one example:

C'mon, how many people have I pissed off here for 'advising' too much? Honestly.

IRL, happens a lot, my being too informative, or being overly helpful.

I've been called excessively paranoid MANY TIMES. IRL and on here. I do feel unconfident in relationships. I thought Fi made sense as an ignoring function, but as a Role function, it could fit too.

I could go on, but enough boring quoting. I do collect reference material, find it hard to throw away anything informational, and like to master my subjects of interest. Pretty much the whole description fits me.

Anyway. Rather than just post a "yes" or "no" about my being LSI, since people think I'm all kinds of things could you do me a favor and just post a % likelihood? Like: "I think there's an 80% chance MD is LSI." Or, "Nah, maybe only a 10% chance." Or something like that. Would be more helpful, thanks.

    Zero percent likelihood.
LSI: “I still can’t figure out Pinterest.”

Me: “It’s just, like, idea boards.”

    LSI: “I don’t have ideas.”

You look like that LSE friend of mine. After he cut his hair, he looks almost *exactly* like you (his nose is apparently a bit different), he also has that athletic constitution and tense body stance.

BTW, neither he and his brother grow rich facial hair. NTR, of course, just FYI.

Hmmm...I'm beginning to question ESE, your looks give me more of the "cautious" vibe that I usually get from Fi valuers.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

I didn't. It was suggested by someone else. Not everyone agrees with ESE.

Haha not quite, European yes. 25% Irish and 25% Romanian from my father's side, and then a mix of German/English/Native American Indian from my mother's side.

Yeah, it still hasn't left me, I remember the switch. But it's been a while since and the SLE typing kind of just faded in the background like it never happened.

i havent been able to see you as anything other than ESE for awhile. SLE never made sense to me and LSI doesnt either.

first he unsuccessfully listed a bunch of traits that he thought would point to LSE before reverting to just changing the emotional vibes he was putting out in a totally obvious transition with all the seams showing. Te role + Fe base + Ni polr.

Fe. and when you were SLE i could suck a dick but now that you wanna be LSE i'm kinda cool? wtf, go kick rocks, lol.
Well I was angry before, when I typeswitched, because you thought I was doing it for jazz/show, when I was honestly trying to find my type. I felt personally insulted, that you had my motives wrong. I was mad in the moment, doesn't mean I didn't like you. I don't expect you or any other EII to just immediately like me because I might switch to LSE.

Tbh the LSE part of being unable to control emotions well fits too. Others are quite often able to get a reaction out of me, as you've seen on this forum as well as IRL, if I'm not careful.

Good call. Look, if it turns out that I'm ESE after all, I'll give you props. But I just think that perhaps the way I usually interact with others, the bubbliness, isn't what comes naturally. And like I said, I'm done being fake. LSE seems to fit my analytical/organizational side a bit better than ESE.

When you are in an relationship are you romantic ie buy her gifts and flowers and tell her how much you love her everyday, or do you think that as long as you are fulfilling your duties, you are showing how much you care?
I remember that forum and I thought you were an SLE because you were able to read people well like if they were lying.
You should do a YouTube vid and link it.

I think it's important to do both. I say "I love you", as well as provide. But when push comes to shove, I do believe actions speak louder than words. And I show my love more instead of saying it. And expressing it verbally can be a bit embarrassing, but I'm sure that's fairly common for a lot of guys.

Socionics and MBTI, each in its own way, have slightly modified the original Jung's description of his 8 psychological types. For this reason, (Ne) is not exactly the same as Ne in MBTI.

Just one example: in MBTI, Se (extraverted sensing) is associated with life pleasures, excitement etc. By contrast, the socionic function (extraverted sensing) is first and foremost associated with control and expansion of personal space (which sometimes can manifest in excessive aagression, but often also manifests in a capability of managing lots of people and things).

For this reason, we consider comparison between MBTI types and socionic types by functions to be rather useless than useful.
