I'm not sure if that logic makes sense...whatever type your dual or mirror is, their SuperId functions are SuperId functions because of the sheer strength of their Ego. Your dual or mirror is far removed from your opposing quadra...
I chose Activity, Mirror, Identical rather than Activity, Identical, Mirror because I think a Mirror relationship allows more bases to be covered.
Megan Fox is in your quadra if she chooses to be in your quadra.
I think I would go with semi-dual.
It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.-Mark Twain
You can't wake a person who is pretending to be asleep.
Yup. I would say semi-dual too.
Well, some SEIs are cool, some aren't. From the LSEs I know, they'd be a safe bet. EIIs can be really cool when I relate, but not so much when I don't. IEE is definitely on the bottom of my list.
So, between EII and LSE... from how I get along with my ESI mum (HERP DERP DERP :TE: FAILURE), I'd say EII has a potential for a really unpleasant life if we're both dreamy and impractical. But at the same time, I find that I can't connect that deeply with LSEs more often than not.
Still, I suppose you can get TeSi services outside of a relationship. So, yeah.
Mirror -> Activity -> Identical.
EDIT
And again, I stress, Si is good for me. On a superficial level, the EIIs I like have similar characteristics to the SLIs and SEIs I like.
Well, according to theory, Fake Caregiver NFs can get really stressed out when they deplete themselves because they're too busy looking after their partner. I could see this leading to the both of us getting stuck in a really negative rut with no way to recharge and refresh. Not good.
And while we're talking of potentials, I know Sereno mentioned starting to appreciate STs more. Thinking that, and the above thought, I'd change my preference to LSE > EII.

Activity relations IS "Semi-dual" isn't it?
I think I would prefer semi-dual to mirror, but not to activation.

Activity, Identity, Mirror.
Mirror isn't even that good, a lot of Mirrors feel like they're from different quadras much of the time. Or is that just me? It's like you agree a lot and see the world in similar ways but it's just really boring. You can *Maybe* say the same for Identity but people who are my Identicals tend to be very attractive to me. The EJ temperament of my mirror feels clash-y and annoying.
Still, your mirrors will do a better job of providing for your DS than your identicals will.
I've found my identicals friendly enough, but I haven't spent much time with my mirrors at all IRL... I'll keep an eye out for them. I'll have to check the comparative benefits of HA vs. shared DS for myself.

Actually I might say Identical over Activity too. Activity seems like.... idk, hot p0rn sex then once it's all over you're like 'what now?' But hot p0rn sex!
Activity, Identical, Mirror for me. I see a lot of potential with identical especially. But if I were not limited to these options, after dual, I would consider; semi-dual, supervisee, benefactor, supervisor.
Activity > Mirror > Identical

I'd choose identical, but with reservations (some identicals I get along with great, like brothers, while others are really hard to stand). Then activity, then mirror.

"What is it we fear?"
"Love," said the Master.
I chose Love
Hm, it depends what kind of relationships we're talking about. Overall, I'd say activity-identical-mirror but when it comes to work relationships I choose mirror over others.
Maybe it's just that the EIEs you know are boring people =[.
I don't care, I'd take any of those three, as long as they were interesting and pretty psychologically healthy. Actually, I would like identical the least, that just wouldn't work aha.
I think I'd like to have an ESE if I couldn't have my dual .
IEI, sp/sx 4w3.

Hmm... I'm not sure. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the point of relationships, in the context of socionics, developing your "weaknesses"? Engaging frequently with those types would produce the most benefit in the long term. But yeah, you're right, it would be a sort of "experiment" which would produce much friction (especially with the supervisor). Tbh... I think I actually prefer the company of some of the members of my opposing quadra, rather than my own (they seem to "complement" my own thinking very well. See things I overlook, etc). At least to explore possibilities and develop theories, perhaps not so much to establish some sort of personal connection.
Nope, you're just being disagreable.
I'd much rather be around someone who shares my energy levels and general reactive/sporadic productivity, than be around a "lets just stay home tonight" "You're too wild" "You need be able to work when I want you too" Ij.
INTj's are great, but I'd rather be in a relationship with a fellow ENTp.
The end is nigh
I wasn't actually just being disagreeable. You might argue one way, but someone else might say they dislike being around people of the same temperament because they often find that toes get stood on.
What do you mean by someone who shares your "energy levels"? Do Ep and Ip temperament types really share the same energy levels compared to the Ij temperament types? An Ij type may be just a fraction away from being their mirror Ep type, and yet they will be quite distinct from the Ip temperament.
i would prefer a good illusory or semi dual to mirror
Maybe toes do get stepped on, but I prefer that to what I've experienced with Ij types.
Wikisocion says:What do you mean by someone who shares your "energy levels"? Do Ep and Ip temperament types really share the same energy levels compared to the Ij temperament types? An Ij type may be just a fraction away from being their mirror Ep type, and yet they will be quite distinct from the Ip temperament.
EPs perceive IPs as pleasantly flexible and responsive to their initiatives, sometimes too unpredictable but for that very reason never boring.
EPs perceive IJs as too predictable and boring, too unwilling to do things on the spur of the moment.
EP: impulsive, shifting from apparent inactivity to bursts of energy, often several times a day, showing impatience during them
IP: finds it easy to spend long periods of time in no activity, or at very low levels of energy
Rationals
(Sometimes called 'shizothymes' in early socionics literature)
1.Focus on what they think should be said or done in each particular situation
2.Try to change their state of mind to fit their activity
3.Respect, honor, and initiate traditions (repeating activities involving other people)
4.Try to 'civilize' life by introducing good traditions, habits, and structure
5.Like to take on obligations in advance so that they can prepare for them
6.Intellectually, usually believe that things should be a certain way and that mankind should strive to materialize that
7.Tend to act a certain way until circumstances stop them
Irrationals
(Sometimes called 'cyclothymes' in early socionics literature)
1.Focus on their own moods and states of mind and what they feel like saying or doing
2.Try to change their activity to fit their state of mind
3.Tend to neglect and forget traditions (repeating activities involving other people) and instead act on their impulses
4.Try to make life spontaneous by breaking traditions and habits for the sake of spontaneity
5.Dislike long-term obligations but freely take on short-term obligations if they feel like it
6.Intellectually, usually believe that things are naturally the way they are, and that mankind should recognize and accept that
7.More artful at "going with the flow" and change their strategy more quickly
This dichotomy (rationality and irrationality) plays a particularly important role in intertype interaction. Of the main four dichotomies in socionics (the so-called "Jungian foundation"), rationality/irrationality is the only one that dual types have in common.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
IJ temperament is the conflicting temperament of EP. EJ is the competing temperament temperament of EP. IP is complementary.
I don't see how "covering all bases" is equal to or greater than having the same mood and productivity patterns ("common ground").
Are you going by experience?
The end is nigh
after dual, I would pick semi-dual or activity.
Hi! I'm an ENFP. :-)
i am also identical>activity>mirror, because I think identicals would be fun to have sex with
