None of the ones I know do. What makes you ask this?

Is he really fat or unhealthy?
I am not really a big fan of salt honestly. Sometimes on steak, a little on french fries. That's about it.
I'm a fairly bland eater, although now and then I'll do like jalepeneo mustard, etc. lol

Actually two that I do know very closely (grandfather/husband) have very odd eating habits (in my personal opinion).
Lots of salt and pepper for my husband on EVERYTHING....and ketchup on everything for my grandfather.
And for both of them, they will put cereal in a bowl with milk and add crushed up cookies/muffins/cake etc.....dump applesauce/chocolate sauce/pudding etc. BLECH Makes me sick just typing it.
Both do love spicy.
Weird thing is, they really didn't know one another.
IME, I see no salt correlation. The two I'm more certain of their type are very talented cooks. Neither likes spicy much either.

Not all, obviously. But surely I remember a LSE female teacher of my childhood that liked food very salty. It's an interesting observation, actually. It caught my eye then.

You know what goes well with excessive amounts of salt? Mushy peas.

I have a nagging suspicion that this thread was not intended to be a joke.

What an odd topic to bump. I put salt on everything but it's not nearly as bad as my obsession with ketchup. I'm going to hate myself for admitting this, but once I carried around a whole bottle in my glove compartment...one time my ex boyfriend found it. I had some explaining to do. I've since gotten a little less obessive...McDonalds only gives you 3 little packets..wtf... is it so wrong to be prepared? I make meals just so I'll have an excuse to eat ketchup.

lol, you mean no one else does this? I don't really eat fast food anymore but sitting there squeezing out 50 packets to get a drop the size of a pea was entirely too time consuming and frustrating. I loved those little travel sized (okay, maybe they're not meant for travel, i just assumed they were) mini squeeze bottles...they fit in there just right.
I dunno - I know at least one person who carries Tabasco sauce with her everywhere. My ex and his dad also looooved ketchup. But they didn't carry the travel-sized bottles

I think I could survive on condiments alone.
They need a red cheeked embarrassed smiley option. My bad Didn't read the 1st quote clearly enough.
I'll try to remedy it with this:
My manager is an LSE, and she loves salt. She loves all spices you can add to food, actually.
(on a side note, i also love salt on everything. but that may be eating habits i've picked up from the SLE
