I've got to be honest, the responses come across rather blandly and canned. I think it's probably as a result of the media training and coaching NFL players normally go through.
I didn't really get much out of these particular videos.

Brett Farve. He seems LSE to me. Am I close?
he is the same as my general contractor and i believe my brother in law.
McNair: Fe-valuing is clear from that interview ... To me, he seems Alpha SF>anything else, (ISFp specifically.) This press conference--his retirement press conference--is obviously an emotional affair. His emotionality in it is higher than in other interviews I've watched--and that's understandable. tereg, maybe you can sense this better, but he seems to have the Si-valuing 'aura' (wow, I don't if I can make this any more intangible/stupid-sounding haha.)
Favre: I've been hoping to get to the bottom of Favre's type for a long time... (Hi KJ!! I think Fi-valuing is evident from that interview... I think dbmmama is on the right track with ESTj... His consecutive games' streak comes to mind and seems consistent with that type.
As to Trent Edwards, maybe this interview will be slightly more revealing... (There isn't much on this guy yet; however, there will be soon if the Bills keep on winning like now
I don't think Favre is LSE for a couple of reasons. He has a propensity to hang on to things, and in a way hang on to his past, both of which I don't see LSE doing at all.
Think about his retirement fiasco. When an LSE is through with something, they are through with it. They don't turn back.
Think about this stuff that's surfaced about him possibly being buddy-buddy with Matt Millen talking about how the Lions could beat the Packers this year (and while he is a member of the New York Jets to boot). The details of that are still yet to be determined, but if this is true, he is definitely not LSE. I don't think an LSE would go behind a former employee's back like that out of spite.
He just is not able to let things go, and I think that he makes rather emotional decisions to be honest with you. He can't make a decision (like holding a freaking press conference proclaiming that he's through) and stick with it.
Now, I don't know what type that makes him necessarily, but those are not the signs of an LSE.

The guys are hot, but football and all sports are so boring. I've never saw the appeal at all. Why the hell would you throw a ball around with limited rules when you can play with barbies and be open to a world of possibilities? Watching (and playing) sports is about as thrilling as paint drying for me.

you silly little sissy boy. football is hard hitting and passionate! my family watches and plays. we're tearing down some trees in our backyard just so we can run routes and build an obstacle course to get in great shape and compete with each other and ourselves.
one of the things my hubby always "gets off" on is being inspired by the way the football players get in shape for the season. one he especially loves is someone carries another player on his back up hills and runs up them!! lol
world of possibilities? sounds kinda ne? so does playing with barbies. my 5 year old little girl does that. lol and i'm pretty darn sure she is alpha sf.
It may seem Se>Si but I don't know how much that one factor matters as much, I'm pretty certain I'm Si to the max and I always had the need to play through injuries because I knew that "my team needed me" hurt or not. So much so that my coach said he would have kicked me from the team if he'd known about some of the injuries I was playing (soccer) with after I'd told him at the end of my senior season. I had shin splints and a fractured foot for most of my senior season and did what I could so nobody would know about it. I'm just saying, playing through injuries may be a factor, but I definitely wouldn't say it's something that could say he is or isn't a certain type. lol @ me trying to talk about a socionics function.
Whatever bitch. Real men shouldn't need to wear so much gear! If they were REAL MANLY MEN they would play football naked, just in jockstraps. Face it, football is for princesses. Real men love unicorns and barbies.you silly little sissy boy. football is hard hitting and passionate! my family watches and plays.
Maybe it is? I still like possibilities I mean it's not like is my polr or anything.world of possibilities? sounds kinda ne? so does playing with barbies. my 5 year old little girl does that. lol and i'm pretty darn sure she is alpha sf.
my favorite thing to do when I was a child was playing with my stuffed animals. I tried liking football... really... it's just so boring though to watch (like pretty much all team sports)
I will say that in 7th and 8th grade, despite being a runt, I was the only one who could tackle the huge kid who went on the be the huge kid in highschool football.
whatever... I'm too physically awkward to play football.
Yeah bg, you get it! As for the 'manly action' or some other nonsense, I'd rather just watch a sword fight for that or a really hot aggressive gonzo porn.my favorite thing to do when I was a child was playing with my stuffed animals. Yeah frequently I'd lose my temper when the other boys made fun of me for not liking team sports, but I was always able to beat them up despite them being good at that stuff. Being good at a sport has nothing to do with how naturally strong you are... it's just they didn't interest me at all so I didn't work on them.I will say that in 7th and 8th grade, despite being a runt, I was the only one who could tackle the huge kid who went on the be the huge kid in highschool football.

Tom Brady -- New England Patriots
Kerry Collins. this is the only thing i could find right now.
Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.
If you're in this forum to learn something, be careful. Lots of misplaced toxicity.

I think it would be tough to make a case for Farve being anything other than Delta... And I don't believe he's INFj.
Thus it's between ESTj, ENFp, and ISTp... After having watched some interviews, I'm leaning toward ENFp (believe it or not.) Favre is very emotional.
Brady, I believe, is also ENFp, albeit the other subtype. (Favre=Ne; Brady=Fi.)
Eli Manning is also Delta (introvert, probably ISTp.)
Kerry Collins is obviously Beta... ESTp, it seems.
