Does "actual" psychology look down on socionics? I bet. But does it not also look down on Meyers Briggs?

MBTI only has its place in career counseling and not other formats of psychology. Simple formats such as overall Introversion/Extroversion are usually more acceptable as a whole to the field of mental health. However, there are other similar exams which some practioners would find more helpful. I am called a Global/Visual in one exam, for example. I cannot recall the exam name right now, and I know these sorts of psychometry are updated/changed almost yearly. Another factor to consider is that those in the diverse world of mental health often disagree on what is legitimate and what is not. Hell, even the DSM-V is huge controversy. I own the DSM-III and DSM-IV-TR, and the changes as time flows is astounding. Who and why dictates what is and what is not "real" is always a huge debate.

Neither, I was just stressed out at the time and wasn't able to think clearly so I overreacted as a result.

Introverts have more of their own world whereas extroverts live more in a world 'shared by others' and thus in a 'normal' world. Look at all the nuts! Introverts all of them.

I got like 23 or something. The page flashed before it went to another one.

I don't know why, but this test seemed to be testing for symptoms of projecting via paranoia, which I guess apparently has a lot to do with schizotypal then...huh. Ashton's right though, the more introverted you are, the higher the score will be, generally. Some of the questions were directly related to testing introversion and assuming it automatically has to do with schizotypal....imo, anyway...

I only got a 17.5 so no. I actually thought I'd score a lot higher and wasn't going to post my results but that's pretty damn average if I do say so myself. I'm proud.

The most interesting thing is that all the wackos are self-typed doms.
    Know I'm mistyped?

I have no trouble in keeping and forming long term relationships; the only trouble I really have is opening up, emotionally, discussing about the things I feel about from the inner depths openly with people; that takes me a very long time and until then, in the hopes of not letting too much of myself be known to others, I keep it in and can be distant from people.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Eh. I think I've come quite a long way over the years in overcoming my suspiciousness. If I have a score of 7/8 after nearly 23 years, then I should be down to a 5/8 by the time I die.

I'm actually somewhat surprised that I got such a low score on 'no close friends.' I have always had trouble making and maintaining close friendships, for whatever reason. That has changed a bit over the past year or so, though.

    Another link for that questionnaire?

I was bit of denial about this. Then I read Millon's descriptions (book) of personality disorders and schizotypal personality sounded bit freaky from my point of view. I'm not disordered, though. Pretty much everyone likes to state I'm not normal normal average person (mostly in positive way). I have very weird perception. I notice things that other's can't "see" but it is not through sensory perception. On the other hand I'm the kind of person who messes up things in the "real world". It wasn't unusual for me that I did the given problem set only to find that half of the problems had wrong numbers on the next day (I was completely drug free and sober). I have very weird connection to the outside world.
